Who Watches The Developing?

Hi all!

Just a quick post to let you know that I have, as mentioned in the last announcement, deleted all of the previous curations done on the two groups and have started afresh on here. I have made curations for all abandoned/on hiatus Early Access titles released in 2013 and 2014. From these you can maybe start to see what the new curations will look like from now on.

Thankfully, the list for 2013/14 wasn't overly massive, with a handful of games from this era still being in active development such as Project Zomboid and Rising World which means those games won't get any curations.

I have also set up a couple of lists on the curator for Abandonware titles and those that are on Hiatus, however, the curator system has been glitchy and as such, I've not got this fully working yet.

Abandonware on the curator is defined as games that have had no updates in over a year and where there have also been no communications from the developers in over a year as well.

Hiatus on the curator is defined as games that maybe haven't had any updates released in over a year, however, the developers have maintained some level of communication/reassurances to the community, and as such, I feel it's fairer that these get flagged differently to abandonware titles.

I try to give backgrounds behind the development of the game(s) as well where I can. Unfortunately there are some instances however where no reason is given and development is quietly ceased.

Some games (I believe only 2/3 for the time being) I have also included a "Buyer Beware" warning, usually in cases where games are no longer playable (e.g. servers being shut down or the game no longer working due to game breaking crashes that have been left unresolved).
