Welcome to Browser.TF's public Steam group!

Who Are We?

Browser.TF is a web-sided server browser for the game Team Fortress 2. Browser.TF was made because TF2's in-game server browser does not meet our expectations (e.g. Valve servers spam the server browser, etc). Browser.TF is a great way to find great community servers with no MOTD advertisements, stock game-play, no pay-to-win advantages, etc. With that being said, we support custom servers as well.

Browser.TF Has A New Look!

Hello everybody, I just wanted to let everybody know I completely rebuilt the https://browser.tf/ website! With the rebuild, I mainly aimed for simplicity and high performance and I believe I've achieved both!

Feel free to use this web-sided browser.

F.A.Q.

Q: Why use this web-sided browser over the in-game TF2 server browser?
A: This web-sided browser is mainly aimed for simplicity and high performance. That said, this browser can load 7000+ servers within 2 - 4 seconds. That is much faster than the in-game server browser. This browser also doesn't have a cap of ~4000 servers like the in-game server browser does and has a couple extra filters.

Q: How accurate is the server details listed in the browser?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot load all the server information on each page load. If we requested the Master Server each page load, it would take much longer to retrieve all the servers from the Master Server. Currently, our web machine requests the Steam master server every two minutes. The information you see will at the most be outdated by two minutes which, in my opinion, isn't that bad.

[1-16-16] Updates - Improved Browser Speed + Changed Design

Hello, I've updated some things on http://Browser.TF/!

Change Log:
- The "Normal" and "Stock" browsers now use AJAX (through DataTables) to retrieve the server data. Therefore, speed is much more faster. However, the "favorites" option had to be removed from the "Options" column for these two browsers. You can still favorite servers while viewing the server's page.
- Slightly improved performance on the "Favorites" and "My Servers" browsers.
- Added a background image.
- Changed the colors a bit.
- Improved the secondary NavBar (doesn't change height when you hover over the items).
- Improved the pagination items on the server tables (removed invisible borders).
