Double-Down, Localization, and More!

New Double-Down Mechanic!

Burn an additional card for a chance at earning MORE Utilities at the end of your turn. Only Utility cards payout on the second draw. Double-Down or Stand? Choose wisely...

Hatchet Gets an Upgrade!

In addition to the Double Down mechanic, the Hatchet will now INCREASE the Double-Down payout (+2 Utilities per hatchet). The Hatchet will perform its normal "Cancel" effect if STAND is chosen instead.

Finally! an Exit button!

You can now exit back to the title screen by either clicking the button in the top-left, holding "Esc" (Keyboard), or "Start" (Controller)!

Small Suprise for SteamOS Users!

For users of SteamOS, the crowbar will take on a familiar appearance. *Steam version only.

Controller Support!

ARSONATE now natively supports controller input with glyphs which adapt to the current controller layout!

Issue with utilities not working/softlocking the game

I am not sure what is causing this, but items used by me (i.e. fire extinguisher) have no effect when I click on valid cards, I can only put them back to the storage. Similarly, those same items used by The Host just straight up softlock the game. I tried reinstalling the demo 2 times, oddly enough the affected items switched. At first extinguisher caused the problem, then the spyglass. There's no real steps to reproduce the issue, just get a utility and try to use it on a card, or let The Host do that....

The computer AI actively cheats.

The game, itself, is fun and has potential, but the huge problem that I've seen is that the AI actively cheats throughout the game. I've seen it get utility cards every time it uses the arson item, get draw again cards every time it uses the hatchet item, and somehow get the most powerful items more often. Game dev, I don't really know if you'll read this, but on the off-chance that you do, please fix the AI so that it's more fair. I don't want to have to play against an opponent that somehow already kn...

what a dumb game

I open the game - then the dealer gets a utility card - but then he not only get his utility but can immediately use it as well. HOW? Why??? He didn't have a redraw card. EVERY time I get a utility - I cant use it immediately - I have to store it - and can first use it the next time around. The dev is an idiot....

Glitch with the cards

The cards on my second playtrhough just decided to say "fk u" becouse. In the beginning card works, the Host plays normally. But when i get to play my round It doesn't light up, or work please

a few thoughts I've had after a few matchups.

1. I do not think Crowbars should be able to steal crowbars. It makes it so a single crowbar can just chain steal crowbars. Especially since you can't do anything about it since the crowbar is immedeatly usable unlike every other item. 2. It feels a bit too reliant on RNG. Or at least it feels like Skill plays less of a factor. It's still fun, but slightly irritating to have a great run ruined because the AI suddenly got everything under the sun to screw you over. while you keep getting hatchets and spygl...
