This game deserves to be more popular. Favorite current fighting game right now by far.

It's kind of a comfort game as far as fighters go. A big roster, beautiful graphics, a healthy heap of stuff to unlock and solo content, and kind of a emphasis on fun over competition that feels lacking today. It scratches a very specific itch that I used to get out of Soul Calibur by meshing weapon based fighting with ease to pick up. And yet despite all that I think there's enough to crunch into thanks to the number of characters with increasingly Blazblue-esque gameplans. A easy recommendation for anyone.
