Maybe just offer it as a steam freebie and wait for some reviews.

So the giant skull headed staff/wand in the video is far too distracting and takes up way too much screen space. This blocks a good portion of the screen making the game look worse than it probably is. I understand it looks cool as an item so is appealing in that way, but its more of a hindrance than it benefits. Maybe add a level editor also to be able to mod this game and make it longer or add in custom content for players....
