I would love to recommend this game but in its current state it is just not acceptable. It is so buggy and easy that it makes no sense for other people to try it at the moment. I played through the whole thing in essentially one day without dying once. In itself no issue, I would love to go for 100% but I am unable to. It is so buggy, that I literally cannot finish some sidequests which are necessary for "completing" the game. I even tried to "fix it" by killing myself and doing a new run, just to get softlocked AGAIN with another quest. I do not understand how this went through into the final version of the game,

+ Music, combat idea, movement, world build up, upgrades, enemy and boss design, weather system.

- Some things I also really disliked: Narrator, no speed up option, too many random encounters who can't even damage me and just waste time, extremely laggy map. soudn issues, useless morale and faction system, undercooked items and 99% useless shops that are supposed to be so important?

Buy for 10-15 bucks if they fix major problems and you got a GREAT TIME, just not yet

I like it overall. Recommend but with caveats.
The style is great. The world setting is super interesting. The flavour and vibes are all super good.

The gameplay loop is good in theory, but it needs a lot of work on rebalancing I think.

Combat is either trivially easy or really hard. There's too much combat and mostly it's just a slogfest of the same few moves over and over again.
I found that the overworld caravanning was kinda in need of some of the same rebalancing as well - there's a lot of stuff out there on the map and its really easy to load yourself down with resources that are theoretically valuable for trading but make it so you can't move, and you're either struggling for supplies or so rich in supplies that they feel trivial. And then when you do haul a bunch of it back to town, there's not really that much worth trading anyway so why did you bother?

Really good in theory, just needs some tweaks to get there
