Things I want from this game as a solo player:
- Pause in solo play.
- Build from storage.
- Better optimization on encounters. Feels like every 30 seconds I'm getting rained on by the dragon, hunted, or raided. I just want to chop some wood, sod off for ten minutes!

Overall, having fun. Solid start for the game.

I like it so far, specially the runescape thematic although is very similar to other crafting games. Just hope they update it soon because I want to play as mage and the skill tree is not yet available.

Should you get Runescape: Dragonwilds right now? No, but not because it won't be good.

I actually really enjoyed my time in the game and completed everything there currently is to offer at this stage in early access. Hearkening back to some of my most fun childhood memories with iconic characters like the Wise Old Man and Zanik couldn't help but put a smile on my face.

The building is reminiscent of Enshrouded and Valheim and I was frankly impressed by how intuitively things snapped into place exactly where I wanted with ease and how nice the build pieces looked.

The power point of this game in my eyes is the spells you unlock as you level the various skills. It's the defining thing(besides being Runescape themed) that will set it apart from other sandbox survival games and they should absolutely continue to lean into it. Being able to cut trees with magic? Very cool. Repair your hard earned gear with a spell? Also unique and cool. Turn bones into peaches? Well, not as cool but a hell of a throwback of nostaglia! I loved the spells and I can't wait to see how adding more skills and higher tiered spells will change the gameplay.

Possibly the absolute best part of the game? You can do it all. One of my favourite parts of Runescape was the ability to experience everything. Never being locked into a skill or a style of combat and only being limited by how much time I was willing to commit to level everything.

You're probably wondering why after all this positivity I am suggesting to not play it? It's very early access. Only attack exists as a combat skill you can level with ranged and magic "coming soon". That as well as only 9 of the 23 skills that exist in OSRS being present thus far and the level for the existing skills being capped at 50.

It's a promising early access title, that could be great in time. There isn't enough present currently for me to recommend players jump into it now. It only took 15 hours to complete all the quests for me and another 5 spent just building for fun.
