It's apparent this is a rehash of the original arcade release, without the added animations, voiceovers and character from the Saturn port, but does it have the practice mode from the PS2 version? It seems it didn't at launch, but I read somewhere that shortly after release the developers announced they would add the training stage selection via an update; there are no communications here, but according to steamdb it did receive some patches so I wonder. This is a basic feature that was available 20 years ...

I'm having trouble getting the game to work with my controllers...I keep getting the message at the bottom right of the screen "CONFIG LOADED: Keyboard (WASD) and mouse" where I would normally see Gamepad, or Switch Pro, or Xbox One controller loaded. My controllers won't work at all, even though they are enabled and work in big picture mode. I didn't have this problem with any of the other Psikyo games....

My favorite shooter of all time is Trouble Shooter (both original and sequel Trouble Shooter Vintage). How does this game compare? Are there any similar shooters on Steam?

Surprised this doesn't exist already, but has anyone tried this on the Deck? If so, how'd it go?
