Beskrivelse
This is a simple mod that adds the mighty Chrysamere from Morrowind to the game!
I stayed true to the look of the original, but added some details to it. The original was pretty bland.
In Morrowind, you will have to find this balde as part of an Imperial Legion quest.
The Imperial Legion has now brought this weapon to Skyrim to aid their war effort!

Chrysamere waits for you in Castle Dour.
The empire has send this mighty artifact to Skyrim to help inspire the troops and boost morale.
General Tulius currently posses it and keeps it locked safel in Castle Dour in Solitude.
Sneak into the castle and steal the sword or win the war for the Stormcloaks to claim the blade at your leisure!
Tulius keeps Chrysamere safe in a display case in his quarters. Look around for a key and a note.

Besides being a very powerfull two-handed sword, Chrysamere comes with a few other nice extra's.
Firstly, while Chrystamere is equipped you gain a nice little healing spell called "Healing Faith".
Also, as long as you carry Chrysamere around (you don't have to have it equipped!), you gain the "Paladin's Shield" ability.
This gives you extra resistance against fire and magicka.

Chrysamere can be upgraded with the Steel smithing perk. This requires a Steel and Quicksilver ingot and a Flawless Ruby.

======================================

Now the important part!
Modders are free to use the sword (the meshes and the textures and scripts) for their own modding projects!
All I ask is credit for my hard work.

Changelog

V 1.0
Initial release

V 1.1
-Small texture tweaking
-The Healing Faith ability was added when Chrysamere was equipped. This made it unusable since the blade is unequipped if you try to cast the spell. Fixed this by adding the spell when Chrysamere is in the players inventory, not only when equipped. Also made the spell better.
-Changed the ability Paladins Defence into Paladins Shield.

!!If the new script does not work properly after updating, try deactivating the plugin and saving your game. Then activate the plugin again and get Chrysamere back from Castle Dour!!

Sorry for the spam but I'm starting think this mod is kind of lazy. As far as I know it doesn't give you extra magic and fire protection. Nowhere in the "active effects" section do I see anything about extra magic resist or fire resist. I want to use this weapon for roleplay purposes but it's underwhelming compared to my Legendary Dragonbone Warhammer with two enchantments (sunlight damage enchantment from Summermyst and a fire enchantment). Not sure if this is worth it.

Nevermind I found it. Just had to restart Skyrim once after I first loaded it with the mod installed.

Unless it didn't install for me I can't seem to find it. Wtf.

This is perfect for my imperial paladin in Skyrim right now! :steamhappy: Thank you so much for this. I found this after I was playing Morrowind and found Chrysamere on some random npc after I killed her. She took out the sword for a brief moment before I killed her but I had no idea it was Chrysamere. My Skyrim character is level 62, has 100 in smithing and enchanting, wears dragonbone armor and and uses dragonbone weapons but I won't mind using this weapon for awhile :P. I hope I can enchant it (even though some might say that's lore breaking but since Skyrim doesn't have the mechanics of Morrowind, where you have to cast your enchantments most of the time, I think it's fine if it can be enchanted).

Can you please make a one handed version of this sword, I just don't enjoy two handed weapons (except for bows)
