Description
This mod tweaks and adds a variety of content to Stellaris.

A full list of tweaks and changes can be found here.

Additional Traits
It adds 44 new traits, and with the exception of two special photosynthetis related traits, these serve as either more or less powerful versions of vanilla traits - for example the "Gardeners" trait, which both boosts food production, and costs half that of the vanilla "Agrarian" trait.
A full list of traits and changes can be found here.

Planetary Expansion
It adds 4 new Decisions to the game, allowing you to expand your planet in different ways.
Cities in the Sky increases Districts and Energy Production.
Downward Expansion increases Districts and Minerals Production.
Verticalised Farming increases Districts and Food* Production.
Worldwide Infrastructure increases Districts and reduces Pop Upkeep.
A full list of the decisions and their effects can be found here.

Flags and Backgrounds
It adds an assortment of different Flag Backgrounds and Empire Emblems.
This includes: White versions of every vanilla emblem, 25 New emblems, and content from Just More Flags as the author has stepped back from modding until further notice.
27 new flag backgrounds are also added.
Some examples of these can be found here.

More Vanilla Loading Screens
It adds 26 new loading screens to the game, making watching that progress bar creep up an even more enjoyable experience.
Some examples of these can be found here.

More Room Backgrounds
It adds (approximately) 333 new Ruler Backgrounds to Stellaris.
Some examples of these can be found here.

A Handful of Techs
A variety of "Vanilla+" techs are added to the game, allowing for slight boosts and increases in a variety of fields.
This includes normal techs, and repeatable techs.
A full list of techs can be found here.

If you want all of the above content, this mod is for you! If you like the look of some parts of this mod but not all, then fear not! In the links below, you can find each of the above parts as independent mods.

Is very nice, I was looking for mods to add planetary features as a gameplay mechanic and found planatary expansion that lead to this, suffice to say I absolutely love this mod, much appreciated and enjoyed

it reduces pop food upkeep by 100% Additive, so say you were to run Nutritional Plenitude your pops would again need food - It also wouldn't affect jobs that require food like (off the top of my head) the hive mind spawning one? as that's a job upkeep rather than just the base pop upkeep!

useing the ne 100% reduced food use but they still use food?

@farsight i've added a version of the photosynthetic trait that any species can take that reduces mineral output as you suggested, and if you then go for biological ascension you can swap it for a trait that doesnt have the reduced mineral output!
