Description
Want to pick more than one origin?

Actually - want to play with every vanilla origin at once, at the same time, with minimal mod conflicts?

Then this mod is for you!

---

There are excellent mods in the workshop that turn other attributes of Stellaris into origins (e.g. civics, ethics points, etc.). However, I've found two main issues with this approach:

1. This burns the attribute, and will cause issues with the AI (e.g. AI having more civics than warranted).

2. Mod compatibility is hell. For both the modder and the player.

So instead, I've taken the liberty of turning every single origin into an edict instead:

1. These edicts appear ONLY IN THE YEAR 2200, and may be taken without any penalties, and without the usual origin requirements. I leave balance up to you.

2. The edicts will set a country flag on your empire, that will allow you to experience everything associated with the origin.

3. I've taken some liberties on changing some attributes of the origins so that they play better regardless of your other choices. E.g. Hive minds can play with Knights of the Toxic God, etc. These will be listed below where relevant.

These do not touch any vanilla files, and do not change any other attributes, rules or events that are not relevant to the vanilla origins, and so should be compatible with any other mod.

Note though that I may not have caught all the reasons Paradox implemented origin restrictions, and I have not extensively playtested this mod as of yet, so if you find any bugs, please report them.

See below for the state of implementation for each origin. Please note that each origin depicted below requires their respective DLCs in order to function properly. Otherwise, have fun!

Completed Origins:

Galactic Doorstep - Implemented.

Remnants - Implemented.

Mechanist - Implemented.

Tree of Life - Implemented. You can also use as a normal empire. Play as space elves!

Clone Army - Implemented.

Life-Seeded - Implemented. Note that you will not be given Gaia World Preference. I trust you.

Post-Apocalyptic - Implemented.

Calamitous Birth - Implemented. You will become a lithoid. I've warned you.

Doomsday - Implemented.

On the Shoulder of Giants - Implemented.

Scion - Implemented.

Necrophage - Implemented.

Here Be Dragons - Implemented.

Ocean Paradise - Implemented. No nebula, unfortunately, because I don't think those can spawn after galaxy creation.

Imperial Fiefdom - Implemented.

Slingshot to the Stars - Implemented.

Knights of the Toxic God - Implemented. Note that you can relocate the Order's Keep through a planetary decision.

Overtuned - Implemented.

Fear of the Dark - Implemented.

Under One Rule - Implemented. Note that while this will give your leader the Luminary trait, it does NOT add the other special traits to leader selection - for that, please use my other mod Luminary Traits Unlocked https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3012628517

Upcoming Origins:

Resource Consolidation - To be Implemented.

Progenitor Hive - To Be Implemented. This one is tougher, so might take some time.

Subterrannean - To Be Implemented. Need to figure out the city GFX.

Teachers of the Shroud - To Be Implemented. I might do this one separately with a Shroud mod as well.

Broken Shackles - To Be Implemented. This one is tough, lots of events, and have to not break Miramar.

Payback - To Be Implemented. Same as above.

Ignored Origins:

Prosperous Unification - Will Not Implement. Because, why? Just play with the default origin if you want this.

Lost Colony - Will Not Implement. Too many variables at play, and it was never a really interesting origin to me anyway, since you can just force spawn a like empire.

Syncretic Evolution - Will Not Implement. I'm not touching the start screen.

Common Ground / Hegemon - Will Not Implement. Because, why? It's not-fun cheese.

Shattered Ring / Void Dwellers - Will Not Implement. This is just a special starter system, and you could just unlock it / play with a customized starter system.

yes, i made a slightly modified vesion of this mod. its work in progress, all implemented origins work fine except for here be dragons.

Dont use the original mod & my mod together as they do the same on the surface but work completely different!
