I would but i don't know how and to be honest. I work as surgical tech ( incl. 24h shifts like from yesterday to today with 24,5 hours ) and i really want to relax after my shifts. Sometimes i really struggle to read myself into bigger workloads like porting mods - so maybe i give it a try and if it works i would share it IF THE ORIGINAL MOD MAKER permits it. I would not take any credit for it or release it on any pay-to-use platform. Would be just for fun and everybody can use it again.
energeticmouse 12 iun. 2020 la 11:54
port it.

I wish there was a way to play these mods on SE. I would love to recreate the memories I had discovering these places those few years ago.
derSanitoeter 9 dec. 2018 la 9:01
Can you port this to Skyrim SE on Nexus?
.Lariana 17 mai 2018 la 2:49
what is the load order??
Ted Snark 14 ian. 2018 la 18:59
For some reason Amber Guard does not download for me...O.o

Love these mods! But I seem to have a weird issue where most of the inhabitants of Oakwood simply vanish. It would be cool if the NPC had their own dialogues and quests, but I understand why it cannot be done and why we have to learn their story from diaries.
Vinniekliennie 22 mart. 2017 la 7:48
Hey there, will you upload these to Skyrim Special Edition at some point?

These are some of the best add ons i have found for skyrim, Keep up the good work for the special edition
Hank Kitts 5 sept. 2016 la 1:16
Edition means you don't select both versions and you should only pick one. Pick Hearthfire if you have Hearthfire otherwise pick the standard version if you don't.
albanert0s 13 aug. 2016 la 14:44
Hilm u subbed to the Oakwood and Oakwood Herfire editon this makes oakwood be 2 citis overlaped so u can only run one of them.
Tiber Septim 1 mai 2016 la 13:21
The Nexus Mod Manager and The STEAM Mod Load Order Menu should automaticaly SYNCRONIZE mods from both sites. Some can and will conflict with one another, such as Lanterns of Skyrim, Kill Mods, Wheather Mods. etc, etc, etc. Alot of pick and choose, pick and choose, process of elimination.
bumb 16 apr. 2016 la 23:16
@HilmGlymph dont have both oakwood and oakwood hearthfire edition installed at the same time

In the Laintar Dale esp (HF version at least, is the one I use) there's a test cell marked for delete still there, and two floor meshes are overlapping at the entrance to the manor (that's why I went to the CK to fix it and found the test cell). Nevertheless, cool mod, and Granitehall was pretty funny.

Reading some of the comments below, you can easily convert these mods for use with NMM. You just need to subscribe to download, copy & paste the .esp and .bsa to another directory, and then unsubsribe. Next, re-archive the .esp and .bsa with WinRar. Finally, install the new archive like you would any other mod using NMM.
Zozo 14 aug. 2014 la 20:42
I LOVE these mods. Thank you!
MadMarbleHead 6 aug. 2014 la 19:02
These are all amazingly done! Though I must say that in the Hearthfire version of Laintar Dale you can take anything you want without commiting a crime.
Benyed 19 iul. 2014 la 1:35
Although you get get better stuff on the Nexus.
Benyed 19 iul. 2014 la 1:35
trilioth, just press the green squares, simple as that, Steam Workshop is actually a bajillion times easier to downlod mods on than the Nexus.
Nir13 16 iul. 2014 la 1:02
It's simply great, love it! ))
no gin 5 iul. 2014 la 22:11
These are all extremely good and great additions to the game. I look forward to any more "Places" added to the collection! ^_^

I would love to add these mods to my game, but I do not use steam workshop. Please upload these mods to the nexus.

Zorg 9 apr. 2014 la 19:55
Great collection, I really like to see the author makes more of the same.
ThirteenOranges  [autor] 8 apr. 2014 la 13:02
@Oriellien: Make sure you don't have hf and normal versions on at the same time. Other than that there are very few assets for these mods, and front end crashes are usually caused by issues loading assets from the .bsa files in the wrong order. I've not heard of anyone else having that sort of issue with these mods, but some of my Quest mods may need shuffled around to accomodate assets that exist in multiple .bsa files.
Oriellien 27 mart. 2014 la 17:49
My game started crashing after Bethesda loading screen. Went through all mods... one of these was the problem. Is there a certain load order they must be in? Would love to play with them, but just cant right now for some reason. Thanks

mad rad rat lad 12 oct. 2013 la 7:24
It's not letting me look at hearthfire edition of laintar dale, it claims it's private or that i don't have permission to view it.
Sol 25 aug. 2013 la 11:04
AHA, I knew it. I should always ask and never assume. Thanks and I did clean it (before I saw your answer), however I still have the rollback option. Hopefully it won't "hurt me" to have done that, I am planning on using several mods which interact with Hearthfire, and in some cases the same "area" as your work.

(Oakwood is very close to The Asteria, for instance).
ThirteenOranges  [autor] 25 aug. 2013 la 9:34
@Thadian: The HF versions have edits that get falsly flagged as UDR. due to dependencies on HF as opposed to the base game. The majority of ITM edits are intentional cell edits left in to maintain them when used with other area-editing mods.
Sol 24 aug. 2013 la 22:06
tos_granitehall.esp Contains dirty edits: 10 ITM, 0 UDR records. Needs TES5Edit cleaning.

tos_amber_guard.esp Contains dirty edits: 36 ITM, 0 UDR records. Needs TES5Edit cleaning.

tos_oakwood_hf.esp Contains dirty edits: 3 ITM, 3 UDR records. Needs TES5Edit cleaning.

This is from BOSS. Should I clean these edits or should I ignore them? I know that sometimes Dirty Edits are intentionally "left in" for good reasons and I don't want to make a mistake.

you,my friend, are awesome :O <------ amazed at how awesomely incredible this is!!!!!
JFCaesar 11 aug. 2013 la 11:51
@slappedyak You can use the mods when you started skyrim once with his normal launcer and saw on the side on the bottom right of the launcher that the mods are downloaded successfully. Then close the launcher and start the game with skse. Hope I could help!
slappedyak 6 aug. 2013 la 6:15
I want to use these mods so much... but you have to run it through steam don't you? which means I can't use SKSE or any of the mods that rely upon it :e I tried installing the mods through the NMM by removing from the skyrim data directory, archiving and installing as a file in NMM but I do not think it worked :P got some serious issues, red and blue tearing lines at the location - I know it's my fault and that somewhere along the line the esm and bsa didn't archive together properly or something... I don't really know what I'm talking about, I'm no modder, I just love this game and have quite a collection in NMM already ;)
Jocha 11 iul. 2013 la 7:24
It says that these are compatable with Hearthfire, are they compatible with Dragonborn aswell? the same with question for your -amazing- quest series (which I already finished but have yet to install Dragonborn)
Angry Frog 3 iul. 2013 la 22:32
@ThriteenOranges: I know i shouldnt have both versions installed, but without them my gain does seem to crash at the main menu. I played last night fine without any problems, i guess ill just have to live with not being able to go near oakwood (Which is fine since i never go there anyway). Thanks for the help anyway though.
ThirteenOranges  [autor] 2 iul. 2013 la 2:50
@Revan: So your game crashes at the main menu (before trying to load a save) if you turn off all of these mods? Have you tried not using oakwood or laintar dale at all? How about running the game without other mods active, and just using the 4 Places mods (HF editions)? What your describing seems exceptional and quite bizzare, so I dont really have any way of speculating what local differences makes this occur just to your machine.
Secondly, if Laintar Dale works and Oakwood doesnt, check your load order. Id imagine in that situation, Oakwood would be loading after Oakwood HF, and Laintar Dale would be loading before Laintar Dale HF. Making sure the HF versions load last would likely resolve the crash at Oakwood unless its caused by another mods interference (such as some of the Cart Riding mods that change navmeshes) although, again, you really shouldnt have both normal and HF versions installed...
Angry Frog 1 iul. 2013 la 23:20
Hmmm iv tried this and it didnt work, luckily i can still play my game, just cant go anywere near OakWood. Strangely Laintar Dale doesnt crash my game when i go near it, there are just two of every person.
ThirteenOranges  [autor] 1 iul. 2013 la 5:13
Revan: CTDs on the main menu are almost always caused by .bsa archive issues. The most common one is multiple archives with the same exact information and the wrong load order. If yours is actually fixed by adding the other versions of the mods it sounds like the ones you have a problem with are the HF edition archive files, which is getting resolved by having the (near identical) original versions loaded, therefor filling whatever holes are in the HF editions. As ive never heard of any similar issues from any other users with these mods in the past, i can only assume that its caused by your local download of the files, so my suggestion is simply to remove them all (properly delete them, not just unsubscribe) and redownload each mod one at a time.
(either that, or other mods outside of this collection are causing some sort of issue, which makes it practically impossible to speculate on how or why)
