Is this all addon makes your own asset or copy someone?

i love these freaking sounds

The sounds just break vmanip. I've tried everything from factory reset to reinstall gmod, but the sounds of the hitmarkers are still there after I enabled them. Trying "quick grenade" will show this the easiest because the grenade will make still have the sound there after I have uninstalled the entire game, cleared cache and shit. Do you have any recommendations to fix this?

No, this mod requires a server component. There is no perfect client-side only damage detection, as the OnTakeDamage hook is server-side only.

Does this mod work clientside? I found a hitmarker mod that showed marks for anybody who shot something

I have to apologise; since Valve decided to spontaneously disable access to game hubs from accounts with VAC bans, I have lost the ability to update this addon. Although my VAC ban occurred roughly 9 years ago, this newly added restriction means I cannot push updates. The source code for this addon is still available at the GitHub link above (including damage numbers).

@Kreezio I've added hitnumbers, so hitnumbers will now appear at the damage source. The addon should automatically update once it's been reviewed and approved.

By "number hitmarker" I think he means hitmarkers that display how much damage you did on that hit

@Kreezio I'm not sure what "number hit marker" is, but almost certainly. This addon only adds hooks.

The problem is that there's no easy way to detect if damage is an actual "headshot" that's generic enough to work on all guns / weapons.

You can try enabling criticals with "hitmarkers_criticals", which'll display a different coloured hitmarker if you deal a large amount of damage at once. For most weapons, this should be good enough for headshot detection.

This is a good hitmarker addon, but is it possible to make it that when you hit a headshot, you get a different hitmarker? Like in BF4?
