Guys download Skyrim script extender. Works for me.

i think ik the issue with this. Not 100% sure but what the hell. I found out that SMIM (Static Mesh Improvement Mod) [ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8655 ] also alters embers in skyrim. So if u have both these mods running, because this is not on the nexus so your mod manager (now vortex) can't sense the conflict

Okay so I keep gettin error saying summit like 'archive bigger than mod may be corrupted' and the mod doesn't even appear in the Data folder on my hard drive nor will it let me delete from data files menu. totally fucked my game.

As below comment says, just need to unsubscribe and then re-enable via launcher, don't have to reinstall from another source (nexus).

The mod itself in my data folder looked fine, certainly wasn't 0.0MB like steam claims. The problem is with the steam workshop but I've no idea why it only afflicts a few mods, making their file size appear to be zero in the workshop.

PSA to those getting the mod corrupted error on launch:

Apparently unsubscribing the to the mod will allow it to run correctly. Unsubscribing will not uninstall the mod, but you will need to re-enable it via the launcher, when you start the game. I don't know why or how this works but apparently it does. I've tested this successfully with both this mode and real glaciers v2.

apparently this same thing happened with a handful of other mods. Anyone know if there is anything being done about this issue? many of my mods that used to work fine are all suddenly corrupt out of the blue

What happened? Mod got corrupted over night? Have the same Error message.

@Sidias Same problem here with multible mods. Now this mod ain't working like the other corrupted :D Also it stops install and check the other mods!

Launcher shows that mod "may be corrupted". Interesting thing is the same communication shows with mod Real Glacer v2.

Before I subscribe to this one - does this mod fix that godawful, weirdly-lit fire on the way into the thieves guild in riften? I got a 'better lighting' mod that makes the 'stealing torches' method of sneaking around just so much more fun, because shadows flicker better, but that one fire is still weird.

It seems even though we thought we killed the beast that was paid mods back in 2015, it has returned from the depths to steal our hard earned money! We encouraged all who are reading this to join what was in 2015 and still is one of the largest anti-pay to use modding protest group as well as to sign our petition! Join, and invite your friends and make your voice known so that we can protest pay to use mods! Bethesda tries to paint out the "Creation club" like it's some sort of professionally made platform for content distribution, but anyone with a brain can tell it's simply pay to use mods under a layer of microtransactions! This cannot stand! Join and make your voice known!
