I've noticed that having this installed causes some general physics inconsistencies. Normally propane tanks with a 12000 power thruster on the end will fly moderately straight, but with this installed they will absolutely freak out and fly in circles

sprops isn't a requirement for the mod to be run, however sprops is what most people in the building community use to build things with these days. You can play the mod entirely without sprops and use just the base props in the game, however the mechs that come with the addon in the dupe folder do use sprops on some.

Looks to be a wiremod issue, in their lua code in the angle file they're expecting to get an angle but got a table instead. I'd ensure that your version of wiremod is correct and up to date and if the problem persists report it to the wiremod devs.

im on a fresh pc right now and i got the daktek on it as well but when i spawn a premade mech it gives me this error which causes the mech arms to remain static when i move the mouse and mech torso.

whenever I spawn an XL engine, I get

They're made of props and those props retain their properties as usual. You would need to either make the mech out of wood or other breakables or get a mod that lets simple weapons damage props, I've seen a few out there before.

Is there any reason in particular that the mechs cannot be damaged by conventional weaponry like guns or explosions? Would love to just drop a fuck huge bomb on a mech and watch it be turned to bits.

Kinda wished the mod included some other forms of craft in the Adv. Dupe. 2 presets like hover craft or helicopters, to show off how those work and so you can mess around with them

I think he might meant where to find daktek stuff added on the mod,which should be in tools down to construction

Unless he means how to get the daktech itself which you need to click subscribe for it to download to your addons folder of gmod and if you are already in game then just select a map again.

It's missing the physics object of a base prop, which would generally pop up if you don't have the base prop. Can be caused by parenting or linking at the wrong time potentially.
