Wouldnt that lead to potential compatibility errors as it is using a vanilla override with the main_botton.gui file?
It also appears that the speeddail_main_bottom file is an older version as it's missing the changes that Paradox did to that file. The main_bottom file in this mod appears to be the newer version.

I have no other mods installed other than those 2.
Took me a while to peg that down, thanks to MacAwesome for leaving the clue to narrow the serach down. Started out only knowing something was broken with my SD and had just added a bunch of mods. xD
You *might* be able to add buttons to those windows, but I'm not sure. I don't think you'd be able to do what you're asking.
Had something similar come up when I was playing around with the UI code to design the scrollbox. I think it might be that you are missing some code in the main_bottom.gui file or one of the other files (gui or gfx) in the interface folder.
