Wonderful work - I have included parts of your mod in mine but then got banned for not asking for permissions. Do you have any objections to your work being included in mine? I have already added you to the credits list.

For those who still play Stellaris 2.1: I created a new AI mod which is based on Glavius's work, but my mod goes much deeper and have a lot of unique features, leading to much better AI.
You can check proof of this and read detailed description here:

will this mod work with the new update?
TDarksword 11. Nov. 2017 um 2:41
@Silfae - great mod, seems to be working fine even though I am getting a couple of errors in the error.log referring to missing Happy4 anim.

Looks like possibly the base anims have been updated and you may need to update the portrait_meshes.gfx and possibly entities.asset to remove happy4 and add sad 1 and 2

The sexual dimorphism doesn't appear to be working for me. Is this a known bug?
Dervantar 25. Aug. 2017 um 17:04
It bugs out in my game. The red horse only is twitching and glitching. Anyone else got that bug?
silfae  [Autor] 12. Juli 2017 um 1:53
Oh, it most certainly is possible. I've already done it with the Holosphere and the Hollow things.
joffrecordan 11. Juli 2017 um 18:53
@silfae, Caste Dimorphism, wherein a species portrait set has one set of appearances for a ruler and one for leaders, and one for pops. IE, Like ants or bees or whatever, wherin the queen has obvious phisiological differences from the "workers" and "soldiers" or something. The movie Aliens and Starship Troopers for example, feature highly dimorphic alien species. I'm wondering i that is possible in Stellaris.
silfae  [Autor] 15. Juni 2017 um 23:14
It reads as outdated, but it's unlikely the last update changed anything that may affect this mod, but I cannot test it until Paradox fixes the launcher CTD and I can start the game again.
Sunbolt 15. Juni 2017 um 20:32
It gives the "Outdated Mods enabled" message but nothing is wrecked in game so must be an issue with launcher.
silfae  [Autor] 15. Mai 2017 um 4:48
I don't think it's my mod, because I've been able to use the Anniversary portraits just fine.
silfae  [Autor] 9. Mai 2017 um 12:58
I thought I already did, the launcher must have screwed up. It should be updated now. There was nothing really to change in the code anyway.
Demo6125 9. Mai 2017 um 12:42
Hey silfae, is there an update coming for this portrait set too? I noticed your others were updated for 1.6, but this one still comes up as incompatible.
グンマの七本槍 21. Apr. 2017 um 9:05
From CK2 to Stellaris, horses rule across Paradox. lol
Hawk 13. Apr. 2017 um 1:51
I seriously never noticed these were horses before.
silfae  [Autor] 8. Apr. 2017 um 2:41
Thanks. They might happen, eventually. I should be able to cover at least all mammalians and several birds/reptiles. The other species classes may be harder to do in a realistic way.

I love these dimorphism mods, who is going to be next ? Personnaly, I would love to see dimorphism for these guys : http://www.stellariswiki.com/images/a/ad/Mammalian_massive_12.png

@EVERYONE This mod has been updated to Banks/Utopia (1.5). If it doesn't update automatically for you, just unsubscribe and re-subscribe.
Confused Fox 30. März 2017 um 22:35
Fine, now they are even creepier.
silfae  [Autor] 28. März 2017 um 0:24
@munky We'll see, it depends on whether I can manage to think about believable dimorphism for each.
Captain Stroon 27. März 2017 um 17:41
Do you plan to make dimorphisms for every vanilla phenotype? Because your portraits look very cool and having distinguishable genders for all species would be awsome.

Random_Crusader 23. März 2017 um 22:06
This is great
It wont save them from mass exstiction by bombarment.
but its great keep up the good work.
Jason 23. März 2017 um 13:52
dont know why but this scares me
silfae  [Autor] 23. März 2017 um 13:05
@joffrecordan What?

@Vilnish Thanks.

@Cerulean Thanks. We'll see, next week is likely going to be another custom empire species.
セルリアン 23. März 2017 um 12:50
Must. Purge. All. Horses.
Honestly tho, nice work. What's your next project?
Vilnish 20. März 2017 um 12:55
I need to say it; thank you for your work.
All your species mod made each new game I play more enjoyable :)

Keep up the good work!
joffrecordan 20. März 2017 um 12:42
Actually... Is Cast Dimorphism even possible?
The Lizard Wizard 20. März 2017 um 12:28
So basically the Bojack Horseman species have started expanding into space. God help us all.
silfae  [Autor] 20. März 2017 um 10:09
@Cookie-chan In a way that is already represented in my Synthetic Portraits.

@joffrecordan That depends on whether a vanilla mesh is compatible with the creature in question, which I do not think is the case for the insectoids of Starship Troopers.
joffrecordan 20. März 2017 um 9:58
If you like adding animated fictional races, can I get an animated Arachnid portrait from Starship Troopers?
Faustian Device 19. März 2017 um 11:43
"Horse"
You mean donkey.
Cookie-chan 19. März 2017 um 10:06
Idk if you take suggestions or do things when feeling inspired, but if you want an idea. You know how the synthetic tech research picture is that really cool looking synth, it'd be interesting to see a portrait set around that.
silfae  [Autor] 19. März 2017 um 0:27
Thanks @Everyone.

@jrr101 I don't know, although something like that would be already more palatable.

@Bananas_on_Bread There aren't space wolves in vanilla though, and technically they wouldn't be that much different from the space foxes.
AbyssalEden 18. März 2017 um 19:12
Good mod, good to see you're still posting mods.

Nice work!
centrist_marxist 18. März 2017 um 6:02
Please do more of these! If you want some suggestions on doing this in non-mammalians. Maybe one day we'll have sexual dimorphism for every single species! (within reason)
silfae  [Autor] 18. März 2017 um 1:52
@Shirmapetz Thanks. If you'd like to donate, you can do it through Patreon, clicking on the banner on top of the mod's description, and pledge whatever you think it is appropriate for my work.
Shirmapetz 18. März 2017 um 1:50
Dude, I have only one question. How can I give you money for all this beautiful stuff?))
