Have I mentioned lately, how awesome you are? 'Cause you are. Just so you know.
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 21 dec 2020 om 7:51
Sorry it took so long in the first place. New version has been uploaded as I can't update this one with the new ID as it will break many blueprints made prior to the Wasteland DLC. Please check the description for more info. Thanks!

@PSYCHO:
I would love you forever if you could make a version that worked with the DLC's without overwriting. This has always been my favorite cockpit and its painful to not be able to use it.
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 25 nov 2020 om 22:30
I must look into it and perhaps post a new version that would be compatible with the DLCs.
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 25 nov 2020 om 22:28
Sorry, can't do that for compatibility reasons. This cockpit came way before and there are lots of people using it that would have their BPs and worlds broken. 🤔🤔🤔
Dammit, what a pickle. 🙄
Sahja Dhaumi 25 nov 2020 om 16:00
HAH, this mod broke the rover cockpit XD. i was waiting for the comments like the one below to start coming.
★➽AminoAcids➽★ 25 nov 2020 om 15:09
Could you fix the cockpit so it won't overwrite the vanilla rover cockpit?
Dodgy Asian Tobacconist 4 feb 2020 om 21:33
I'm amazed and thankful that you still support this mod, Although the DLC cockpit replaces this in vanilla I still prefer your mod
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 8 dec 2019 om 5:26
@ t2hk quote"not compatible with other cockpit mods"
If you mean about FC 2.0, then it merely points out that it's a vanilla replacement so any mod changing the vanilla cockpit in any way would mitigate any changes made by FC 2.0 which should be a somewhat logical and pre-requisite understanding of how mods work before modding in the first place. ;)
But non the less, SE is really hard to hard conflict with mods that could lead, in game bugs and glitches or save game corruption, again corruption originating from mods themselves, not from Keen's updates and changes that may lead to corruption which is always a risk and very hard to anticipate and mitigate in advance. :)
t2hk 8 dec 2019 om 2:32
Thanks for the answer, appreciated it. By the way, I asked that because the old mod said that it's not compatible with other cockpit mods. I was slightly worried that that would still be the same in the fixed version
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 7 dec 2019 om 13:48
Also, to clear things up a bit my cockpit has nothing to do with animations, i used Fighter Cockpit 2.0 only as an example and has actually nothing to do with animation in general, but Darth Biomech did such an amazing job making it, he baked very awesome and sadly never used animations into the models themselves (open, close canopy, seat safety bars and such) which triggers SE's IK and screw with it. Only example of a bug i know of that doesn't get fixed with a save reload which makes me think and point out that troubleshooting mod problems might require game restart sometimes. Cheers ^^
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 7 dec 2019 om 13:43
@ t2hk - I'm not sure i fully understand your question. If you mean if there are any conflicting mods, then no. Unless you use the original rover cockpit which you shouldn't use with this one (duh), there are none as far as i know. Of course there might be some remixed mods or server collection mods that have the rover cockpit and my advice is, if you want to make sure my mod works properly, just keep it higher in the load order. Hope that helps.
t2hk 7 dec 2019 om 12:43
Does it work with other cockpit / animation -changing mods, unlike the other one?
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 7 dec 2019 om 11:36
Interesting. Thanks for the feedback! Hope others can find it helpful as well.
Volcano [FR] 7 dec 2019 om 10:07
After some testing it appears it was because I was building the rover in an old creative world converted by the game after the latest update. In the new world it works just fine, I can customize the cockpit's LCDs.
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 7 dec 2019 om 3:54
Just went in-game and seemed to work fine. Perhaps some mod conflict? Could you check any GUI or display script mods? E.g. make a duplicate save file and try disable some mods and see if it works? Also i'm not sure if that could happen to other stuff but sometimes it requires complete game restart rather then simple save reload for changes to take effect. E.g. Fighter Cockpit 2.0 mod f**** up the player idle arm and leg IK movements and even if you remove the mod from the list, it won't get fixed until you exit the game and then load it up. Leads me to believe other things could behave similarly. GL and sorry you're having troubles.
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 7 dec 2019 om 3:47
Of course it's not normal. Hm. Lemme check. -.- This cockpit just don't like me. T.T
Volcano [FR] 7 dec 2019 om 2:52
I'm using this lovely cockpit for a rover I'm currently building, but when I look at its options in the control panel I cannot see the option to customize what its LCDs are displaying, like we have for the vanilla/DLC cockpits, is this normal ?
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 3 dec 2019 om 5:34
I'm still a bit confused with the whole research .sbc's but hopefully i fixed the progression bug for good this time around.
AngelMarc 26 nov 2019 om 16:55
bugged progression
OganM 1 nov 2019 om 16:28
Just building the cockpit once should bring the items back in case you don't want to wait @theimmersion
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 22 sep 2019 om 22:39
Ah, yes nvm, replied before thinking it through.
You probably have the progression bug from this mod. It's gonna be fixed in the first week of next month. Sorry for the inconvenience.
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 22 sep 2019 om 22:30
That should not be possible.
DALEISHERE 22 sep 2019 om 21:01
I added this mod and it removed Atmospheric thrusters and gyroscopes from my building list. Not sure if it removed others those are all i noticed
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 20 sep 2019 om 13:58
Upgrading to new CPU (which requires new mobo) and hope to sell old PC so i can buy a mobo sooner.
Xskyth 20 sep 2019 om 9:50
are you upgrading, or did it break?
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 19 sep 2019 om 22:21
Sorry! Waiting for paycheck which is 1st in month so i can buy a new motherboard which my new PC is missing as my old PC is stripped for sale.
Xskyth 19 sep 2019 om 21:31
any news on the progression tree fix?
Dr Fraud 6 sep 2019 om 14:52
In the Progression tree all the items that used to be gated by Cockpits in general are now gated solely by the Rover Cockpit.
This means I need to build a Rover cockpit even if the current project doesn't call for one.
You need to find a way to add to the Cockpits group rather than supplanting it.

Just wanted to say how much I love the SE modder community. You guys work your butts off for zero pay and we reap all the rewards. TheImmersion, I think I've seen you're newer to the community and I wanted to say specifically your work is awesome. SEModder, Eikster, and all the others; I've heaped praise on you guys enough for years. All of you keep up the good work and let those of us poor sods who love your work know if we can help you guys out in any way.
Sarah_Starchild 23 aug 2019 om 20:38
https://gyazo.com/563818c9998e284518dcc2c4dd862add . No worries :) . This is what it looks like for me. If you rekon it's working then I might be missing a file, I'll try re-subscribing.
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 23 aug 2019 om 17:27
Erm, not sure what you mean, i checked and it works fine. It is in the same tier as the vanilla cockpits (as intended) and requires you to build a landing gear to unlock them which is pretty straight forward. Not sure how thrusters and weapons can be locked by the rover cockpit.
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 23 aug 2019 om 10:42
I thought i did... o.O Will check immediately.
Thought i'd implement it. Sorry!
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 21 aug 2019 om 18:22
Thanks! :)
Protto 21 aug 2019 om 18:12
Love the work you guys do....keep up the good work.
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 16 aug 2019 om 3:25
Your welcome. :)
Gaming in a Daydream 16 aug 2019 om 3:22
Thank you so much, this is my favorite rover cockpit, still better than the new vanilla/dlc before the update, so very much appreciated!
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 15 aug 2019 om 16:41
Updated with the new and very cool cockpit LCD's as well as finally added the proper highlight. Hope you still enjoy this amazing work from Darth Biomech. :D
FrancoBam 23 jul 2019 om 11:17
Love that! Awesome!
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 5 jun 2019 om 11:54
Not yet, no.
Chaos_02 5 jun 2019 om 10:47
You... Need any log files? :O
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 5 jun 2019 om 2:38
Thanks! xD
Chaos_02 4 jun 2019 om 22:53
Good luck then..!
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 4 jun 2019 om 11:56
Probably and i certainly want to as soon as i get some spare time. Very little modding and gaming time in general due to work and all...
Chaos_02 4 jun 2019 om 11:53
can you update this mod?
It seems like I cant place some mod blocks and unfortunately this is one of them...?
TwitchingPsycho  [auteur] 2 jun 2019 om 0:06
If I understood you correctly, no you can't. Not in vanilla, not here either. Such thing would probably have to be implemented by Keen.
Hirnsausen 1 jun 2019 om 17:23
One more question, if you don't mind. Each cockpit has many empty slots, and below them many numbers. Is there a way to add functions to each of the buttons (to avoid having to open always the K menu)?
