Vadicus 25 feb, 2023 @ 22:01
Prop Anarchy and Move it! can raise and lower these props.
Vadicus 25 feb, 2023 @ 22:01
@KingLeno Hey King! I was just curious if you would be willing to update these curb props. I've adjusted the LODs so that you still see the concrete curb when zoomed out. Would you be interested in using the meshes and LODs?
AmiPolizeiFunk 8 apr, 2021 @ 0:24
Hi Leno. I too would appreciate a non-terrain conforming set of these that can be raised. This is such a great set (sizes and look)! I know it could be PO'd and raised, but atm I'm interested in sharing a large build that includes these and we don't yet have PO-MoveIt-export integration. :highlvl:
Malopolanin 23 jan, 2021 @ 12:47
Has anyone faced the problem of disappearing curb planter along with a tree placed on it when the game is loaded next time? Both are there when I use move it mod but they are invisible.
eurosoe 18 jan, 2021 @ 4:35
Thanks Leno, Is there a raisable Half Circle? I like putting them at the ends of the parking row.
KingLeno  [skapare] 17 jan, 2021 @ 18:05
@eurosoe the first set raises up. also Curb Network raises up. There is also a prop in this set called Curb Prop Large (NC) that raises up
eurosoe 17 jan, 2021 @ 17:12
I wish these raised up and down so we can use them to decorate parking lot roads. I'll give your other curb assets a chance though
maxpower 27 maj, 2020 @ 16:09
@KingLeno; Yes. I think you are correct. Thanks very much for the time to explain to me. I will just keep using Find It.
KingLeno  [skapare] 27 maj, 2020 @ 15:16
@xerxesaria that's what i was saying, you can only place props included with park life etc. in the vanilla tabs. All workshop props require find-it to be used in-game (unless there is a DLC depency).

I haven't heard Find It has much of a performance hit. Even if it does, the time spent scrolling thru menu's would be way more time. You would lose access to a ton of workshop items without find it. Thanks!
maxpower 27 maj, 2020 @ 13:47
@KingLeno. Sorry but I didn't mention that I have all the DLCs (exc disasters). By regular tab, I meant perhaps the Parks tab under which you have several other tabs such as the Zoo and one tab named "props", which I assume contains only Vanilla props (For example Nature Reserve Fence). I don't use More B., but Find It. However, based on some research by others, I understand that Find It potentially slows the game down. That's why I was asking if it was possible to somehow re-place these props within the Parks-Props tab of the Vanilla game. Otherwise, I am content by using Find It :) Thank you for your wonderful contributions.
KingLeno  [skapare] 27 maj, 2020 @ 13:30
@xerxesaria there is no "regular" tab to access most props in the vanilla game. Props that are accessible in the game (without mods) are those that require park life/campus/or industries. (I don't know if that's been changed however). Prior those DLC, a mod named "More Beautification" was required to access any props in-game. If you're still using that, get rid of it. It slows the game down, and functionality within Find It has made it obsolete.

In short, placing props in-game is not a vanilla feature and a mod is required to place all (overwhelming majority) of workshop props.

And if you are using More Beautification to access the vanilla prop menu, they all show up, you just have to sort through a ton of different menus and props. Nobody wants to do that, and that's the entire purpose of FindIt
maxpower 27 maj, 2020 @ 13:16
Hi. Pardon my ignorance but why do these props (and the older version of these) only show up when I use Find It? Can I do something to make them show up in the regular "vanilla" tabs? I see this was asked a couple of times so I thought maybe there is a remedy for it by now. Thank you.
Captainklums 6 mar, 2020 @ 11:40
Thanks!
KingLeno  [skapare] 3 okt, 2019 @ 5:27
@d"coffee" LMAO if only you knew what a complete disaster that would be
D "Coffee" 2.3 2 okt, 2019 @ 22:30
Hello great author, please could you pack all the curbs/props/network together? Thanks!
Puliandro 25 aug, 2019 @ 15:39
I hesitated at first because it's 10mb, but now I'm using them eveywhere in my new city, they fit and look just perfect in almost any spot, gracias king!
dvdprz12 24 aug, 2018 @ 15:53
@KingLeno this is a great way to decorate a park. Thanks!
KingLeno  [skapare] 10 jul, 2018 @ 10:27
@olga8806 they should be in the same category. Use find it, idk though.
olga8806 10 jul, 2018 @ 6:29
@KingLeno, These don't show up in the road editor, the old version does. probably because these are located in the common - streets folder. The old version is visible in road editor, however, the white lines are visible when you overlap them.
I want to create a road with decorative grass + trees and bike lanes, but I am not a genius modder like yourself and others so thought i'd try and create it with props :)
KingLeno  [skapare] 10 jul, 2018 @ 4:57
@olga8806 don't exactly know what you're referring to, but these connect easily without seeing teh white lines through. There's also curb networks which is a draggable network version.
olga8806 10 jul, 2018 @ 2:22
These do not show up in the road editor, the old ones do. I am trying to create a road with bikes and decorative grass without actually modeling a road as I do not know how. As these curbs have grass with a curb edge around the grass I was wondering if it's possible to make the thin curb without the curb edge on the ends so that I can connect them easily without seeing the white line through them? I hope this makes sense...
Ivanish 21 maj, 2018 @ 22:40
These are great, I use them all the time!
Räzz 17 apr, 2018 @ 9:45
Great mod! Couldnt decorate all my things without this! :)
KingLeno  [skapare] 26 nov, 2017 @ 17:31
@ranazomic well you're one out of about 48,000. With those odds, should grab a couple of lotto tickets
Ranazomic 26 nov, 2017 @ 15:16
not working for me :/ no assits in game
Syrieana 5 nov, 2017 @ 3:09
OMG just what im looking for, thank allot
Senfkorn 30 okt, 2017 @ 9:56
That's nice! Thank you.
AngryDragon 2 okt, 2017 @ 2:25
When used with Prop Line tools, your Oval XL can corner just about any curve. However, because of the rounded corners, you have to get them real close toguether before you can create that illusion. I feel that with a version which has a somewhat less rounded corner, the same result could easily be acheived while using less props.

I've checked other curb props on the workshop, and elevating the center was a stroke of genius. I see them all the time on Youtube.
KingLeno  [skapare] 10 sep, 2017 @ 20:55
@epicjt anything is possible, but it ain't happening. Mulch Props already has 2 of the meshes from here tho.... did you check those out?
Raja 10 sep, 2017 @ 19:52
Would it be possible to make this set using the mulch texture from Mulch Props?

Swisschalet 16 jul, 2017 @ 14:42
Awesome asset! What are you using to pave the parking lot, it looks really clean, cant seem to find the prop/mod anywhere.
KingLeno  [skapare] 12 jul, 2017 @ 7:53
@alborzka no, that would be chaos for me. you'd have to use mod tools to do that, which is beyond my explanation.
alborzka 12 jul, 2017 @ 7:07
Any chance of publishing a non-terrain following version of these curbs? Trying to make some green roofs and the old Curb Props worked well for that, but they don't intersect seamlessly like these ones do. Or, how would I do so myself in Asset Editor, since they both fall under the same ItemClass?
KingLeno  [skapare] 5 jun, 2017 @ 6:35
@mauritsivs https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=883703658&searchtext=curb this may be something like what you're looking for
makupi 5 jun, 2017 @ 5:10
any chance you'd make these curb versions without grass, so just a concrete version? would be usefull to make custom shapes of sidewalks at intersections for example
agusingnavy 2 jun, 2017 @ 21:28
Cool. Thanks @KingLeno.
KingLeno  [skapare] 2 jun, 2017 @ 5:30
@agusingnavy a triangle
agusingnavy 1 jun, 2017 @ 23:03
Updated. What's new in this pack?
Prosper 14 maj, 2017 @ 9:23
thanks!
KingLeno  [skapare] 14 maj, 2017 @ 6:06
@prosper and you have to have the prop selected in the game first. http://i.imgur.com/IpwbUHU.png http://i.imgur.com/9oMkjIH.png
KingLeno  [skapare] 14 maj, 2017 @ 6:04
@prosper tool controller>prop manager or something. then scroll down where it says preview > dump texture and mesh for future references
Prosper 14 maj, 2017 @ 4:25
I don't know how to extract the mesh from prop.
KingLeno  [skapare] 14 maj, 2017 @ 4:23
@prosper use modtools. the grass texture i used is the default vanilla texture tho.
Prosper 14 maj, 2017 @ 4:21
Could you share the meshes of these curb? I would like to use own texture.
Suicidal Easter Bunny 13 maj, 2017 @ 9:33
ok, thanks anyway!
KingLeno  [skapare] 13 maj, 2017 @ 4:53
@Suicidal Easter Bunny that wouldn't have anything to do these curbs. they are just props and don't affect the way the game functions. If there is another issue, sorry i can't help :(
Suicidal Easter Bunny 13 maj, 2017 @ 4:08
some trees that i have placed on your curbs disappear when i load my game, help
KingLeno  [skapare] 26 mar, 2017 @ 7:25
@eni and they generally aren't for making large open lawn areas without plants or trees
KingLeno  [skapare] 26 mar, 2017 @ 7:25
@eni no. a completely flat grass surface would lead to extreme glitching and z-fighting and they would not be able to be intersected. That's the reason why they are not flat. And yes there there is shadows and weird stuff happening when they are intersected...that's because props aren't meant to be intersected in the game. These are really meant to have have trees and plants on top of them, so that any glitching when intersected won't be noticeable. There is a certain distance they should be placed apart to minimize the shadow parts, they should be closer together, if you place another one in the area you have problems with it should minimize
