Ok, I've figured it out. Civ has a weird mod system: I thought the screen with singleplayer at the op was just a confirmation of which mods were active, but you're actually meant to click singleplayer and play

There is no option for infoaddict under the scroll menu. HELP ME, I've spent the past 2 hours trying to get this mod to work

It could be a glitch.
Try unsubscribing this InfoAddict, remove the game, and re-subscribe it.
If that didn't work, then try go to Advanced Setup, and UN-check Cultural Victory.
This should work.

For some reason when I started a game with this mod active I was told that I lost the game due to another player winning a cultural victory on the ELEVENTH turn. I have no idea why and how this is happening.

Now you just need to make a mod that adds a map thingy-dingy at the end like in civ 4.

Vanilla is the game without any expantion packs, GK(or G&K) is Gods and Kings, same deal for Brave New World ;)

This may sound like a stupid question, and it probably is, but can anobody tell me what vanilla means and what the difference is between a vanilla mod and a non vanilla mod. Thanks.

so far none of the mods that I have "downloaded" are on my list in Civ V, I have restarted stem, Civ V, and my pc several times now, and still these mods won't show up

So I subscribed on the website (I have/ got the Vanilla version,) then I started a new game through the Mods menu... but when I click the little scroll there is no Info Addict option. :( What's going on?? I'm so excited for this mod, please help.

If you bought civ V but not the Gods and Kings expansion, you are playing "Vanilla". You can also disable Gods and Kings to play the game without the expansion.

@eurythmech: That's a weird problem that sometimes happens to people. Unfortunately, I don't know what causes it since it's never happened to me. I suggest playing a few turns in a new game with only InfoAddict running to see if work like that and, if not, wiping out your cache and reinstalling the mod by itself.

@bobman: It only means it won't work with G&K and you have to download the other version of InfoAddict. All the DLC leaders work with this version.

Am I the only one who don't see any graphs when playing Vanilla? Everything else with this mod seems to work, but graphs...notsomuch.

When it says no expansions, does that mean it wouldn't keep track of the additional civs added by the packs (Inca, Korea, etc...)?

Confirming that deleting the cache folder in the civ file and restarting the game works when info addict does not show up on the mods list after pressing subscribe.

@avocet: Did you try subscribing from within the game? I think I tried subscribing fromt he site once and it didn't update the game until I un'subed and then did it from within the game. Also, make sure you're trying to start the game from within the mod menu screen (hit 'next' after enabling the mods). If you back out to the main menu and start from there, you get an unmodded game.

Love the idea - I'll try this as my first mod. (And yes : Vanilla rules ;))
