@manu The mod is fine.
manu 16 dec 2017 om 8:43
@Ronyx69, size would not be a problem but just having a mod for this would be, you know on every time when game updates we need to wait for any broken asset to be fixed. So either if you could update this mod or create a new one which does not uses the mod would be awesome.
Overlord 11 okt 2017 om 9:49
Ok thank you for explanation. I did not know that. It is great that you can create amazing things/assets and you also know all the things behind it (what is under the hood) :D btw I had question on your docks video on youtube if you could provide answer as well. That would be very much appreciated. Thank you again Ronyx.

@Overlord The mod works perfectly fine and has it's uses for doel and this, the asset would take up twice the file size if it was made using the vanilla sub-building implementation.
Overlord 11 okt 2017 om 7:12
It it possible to recreate/update this asset with no needs for that old deprecated mod?
Ronyx69  [auteur] 8 aug 2017 om 10:30
@tuordiel Because I used a template from jeren and that bridge used the electricity tab, I had no idea what I was doing back then so I left it.
tuordiel 8 aug 2017 om 6:43
Why you set tag "Electricity"? Your bridge generate electricity?

Beautiful Bridge

Wow, Wow. Beautiful.

I had to double look, because I thought it was a photo of the real thing rather than a model.

Wow.

Yay, nice addition! I love it :)

@BloodyPenguin I know it was a part of the vanilla game and the enabler simply provided the tool to use them for custom assets. Let's hope these issues get fixed, do you (or CO) know about the issue with flattening terrain Avanya had? Very likely related to SB - http://community.simtropolis.com/forums/topic/71973-weird-terrain-glitch-with-subbuildings/
BloodyPenguin 10 dec 2016 om 5:40
@Ronyx69 They didn't integrate SBE contrary to that popular myth. They just didn't have tools to edit sub buildings in asset editor and that's it. But sub buildings is a thing that was present in the vanilla game since the beginning. I reported many sub buildings editing related bugs and CO should fix them in the bugfix patch.

@cakethulu I'm not going to put both halves together, this is the entire point of the sub-building, and I'm not going to put the road on it as well since it limits the use of it.

I tried to use the built in sub-building tool from the new update, but the asset shows an error with it and doesn't load, which is exactly the kind of thing I expected, they "integrated" a mod by screwing it up somehow.
cakethulu 1 dec 2016 om 19:08
okay thanks! This is the first bridge I have tried adding to my city so it's all a bit new to me. Do you think with the auto-sub-buildings offered in the new update, you could make a version that already has both halves put together and or/ with the road on it?
Ronyx69  [auteur] 1 dec 2016 om 2:59
@cakethulu You can place it with any kind of anarchy and it's meant to be on an elevated 6lane road, 3 segments as described in the last picture.

The asset contains half a bridge, the other half is a copy of it rotated 180°, that's the sub building, but I need to update to the new 1.6 integrated sub-building thing soon, I haven't checked out how it works.
cakethulu 30 nov 2016 om 19:07
two dumb questions. A- how do I place this? and B- why is Sub Buildings Enabler required?

Very Very nice.
Ronyx69  [auteur] 11 nov 2016 om 2:39
@ElyPante Nah, this is how it looks and I'm too lazy to touch it any more. :D But in the future when network skins supports custom bridge meshes (road bridges that you can draw) maybe I'll make something out of this for that.
clockmaker 10 nov 2016 om 22:04
Breathtaking work here!! I love it, I am also loving the LUT you used here, very nice. Would there be a singled arch version? Just asking :steamhappy::steamhappy::steamhappy:
Ronyx69  [auteur] 10 nov 2016 om 12:36
@Rotzaffe Custom LUT, but not only that also modded lighting settings, it's very wip and local right now, if you want to test it out, add me and I'll give it to you.
Jannomag 10 nov 2016 om 11:41
Hey, what LUT do you use in your screenshots?

i cant really use this bridge on my desert map but you can bet ill be watching your next stream. just thought id tell you.... lol
Ronyx69  [auteur] 7 nov 2016 om 13:52
@Italo Nabokov I have no problem with criticism anyway. But yeah file size and tri count are different things. The model barely takes up any space, the only way I can think of to increase the file size is making a huge texture.
Kiwi 7 nov 2016 om 12:53
@Ronyx69 Sorry, maybe I'm using wrong terminology... I just meant that I'm grateful for an asset with a low file size - I try to restrict myself to individual assets under 10MB depending on what it is, and with some bridges out there being 20-40MB, your bridge is very lightweight, and still incredibly detailed and beautiful! I hope you don't think I was being critical!
Ronyx69  [auteur] 7 nov 2016 om 2:21
@agusingnavy Thanks :D I needed a way to show the information on the placement and dimensions so decided to go with this design poster look.
Adman 7 nov 2016 om 1:27
Stunning! Perfect for my Japan build
NoirMoutton 6 nov 2016 om 23:29
Thanks great job- we need more superb bridge assets like this
agusingnavy 6 nov 2016 om 19:43
Being a Civil Engineer I must rate up this asset just because of the last screenshot. Simple tech data but at the same time very professional. I have never seen this before, here on the workshop. Well done.
ale_donkey 6 nov 2016 om 18:26
Very nice bridge! Thank you for adding your great work to the community!
Cleveland 6 nov 2016 om 13:35
This can actually be considered low poly with a tri count under 10k in the context of workshop submissions, there's a guy here who releases trees and bushes with 2k+ tris and huge textures and refuses to learn how to reduce the tri count. So with that in mind, very nice submission!
REV0 6 nov 2016 om 13:32
And... subbed.
jPRO93 6 nov 2016 om 12:32
Look similar to one bridge in smal city in Czech Republic! Cool work!
Ronyx69  [auteur] 6 nov 2016 om 12:24
@Italo Nabokov I would consider this a high poly count.
Kiwi 6 nov 2016 om 12:15
That looks amazing for the low poly count!!! I'm all for more bridges, thanks!
