Im unable to load into any map with this theme enabled, it just crashes on load

It disappeared from the game, I can't find it in the content manager anymore but I'm still subscribed

i subbed this but i cant actually find it.. its not in the map themes in game, and not in the content manager map themes either.. =/

@ashlandky62 the mod 'theme mixer 2' allows you to change it on the fly

Nice theme - used in my recent map - Potomac Plateaus.

I run with a GTX970. So i guess not. But if you want to frie your graphic card you should wait a little more for my new theme.

If I've got a pc that ranks 8/10 on the Potato PC Index, would this cause lag issues?

Anyone still using this map theme as a default map theme? I have serious troubles to get desired ingame look with help of the mods like ultimateye candy, relight, daylight classic, post process FX etc.I always get too much dark/light view or the view in some weird haze (like vanilla LUT or game without LUT). Some buildings are very white and bright. If you have a time make a screenshot please and share it. Thanks.

Somehow i cannot load a save with this theme, when First Person Camera mod is enabled. Says theme was not found.

This is my favorite theme by far. I just published my first map (Portage Junction) and used it as the theme. Hope that was OK.

In my opinion the best theme on the workshop. Sometimes I find good theme but it has small file size like 20-40mb si I guess no 4k theme there and it is really pity. I replaced ruined texture only.

I just absolutely love this map. I've only been playing for about a day, and I downloaded this map as one of my first workshop items, and I love it soooo much. Great, great job.

how do you get those colored farms? is it the surface painter tool mod or another mod?

Many users come up with decals and foliage to solve any issue with tiles nowadays so i suggest you try this until someone discover a solution.

About winter theme I dont have Snowfall so I cant create Winter themes.

alborz actually, we can't create different texture for different distances for cities skylines map themes. What he did on Australia HD was create a low detailed texture, so when you zoom out the texture blends and you cant notice the pattern. But If u discover a way to create diferent texture for diferent zoom levels plz contact me would be nice to learn.

I think you can have both though? At least with @pdelmo
tropical theme he made different textures for different zoom levels, so by the time you zoom in it's sharp and you don't notice tiling, but really zoomed out you see another texture so that it doesn't show tiling. Idk I haven't seen that technique before so thought you'd wanna see it, anyway still great themes :D Are you considering making a 4K (or maybe 2K) Winter theme?

alborztka i had to choose between tile and sharp. And I like sharpen texture more.

@Mark Fire I think this theme and some of your other 4K themes, while absolutely amazing (I LOVE 4K themes, I need all the detail I can get!), suffer a bit from tiling especially in mountainous areas where it becomes a bit more obvious. Maybe some sort of "tablecloth" or seamless multi-layer / multi-level texturing can help reduce this (esp. at different zoom levels)? Just some constructive feedback, thanks for hearing me out :)

faris.taj you probably are trying to use this theme on a non temperate map. if you want to use this theme in a different climate, get the Environment Changer mod.

Well, I read the description. But my problem is that the theme won't even appear in the drop down window.

This is a problem on the map you are trying to load. On description of Cedar Valley (roads only, map and save) you can read about this issue and how to solve.

This doesn't come up when the custom map theme drop down appears. What should I do?

I go to  load game, I select Cedar Valley (roads only) , then I select Cedar Valley 4K  as a custom map theme, then I click load and then this message pops up: Warning: The custom map theme used by this map or save is missing. Do you wish to proceed? This happens everytime. What should I do?

Everything is working just fine here. Did you use any texture mod like theme mixer or sharpen textures? i really dont know what could be. If you find the problem plz share with us to help other players with same problem.

I have used both without the enviornment mod and without @mark fire. I've had to of loaded my temperate climate city up 10 times last night. Nothing worked.
