Oof another dead mod that is cool
MaulMachine 24. mar. 2021 kl. 17:21
A few events do. Most do not. It's harmless, though.
CasusBelli420 24. mar. 2021 kl. 15:21
Does this still work?
Neverminder 9. dec. 2020 kl. 21:11
lol
MaulMachine 1. dec. 2020 kl. 15:57
That part does.
Fisicosaurio 1. dec. 2020 kl. 11:25
Does this still works without breaking a thing? I just want the observation post reminder.
MaulMachine 20. juli 2020 kl. 17:09
This mod no longer works. The events pop, but the rewards do not register.

@author/developer: I would like to post this with an update launcher. It's not much work but it will at the very least stop the update requests. I'm requesting your permission to do this and if at all possible, for you to mention this in your information above.
Thanks!
RyuDraconis 28. feb. 2018 kl. 10:54
Ive used it in 2.0, it still gives me the popup and situation log entry in 2.0 for primitives and doesnt cause a crash or break anything!
Kingdark 24. feb. 2018 kl. 16:35
That's what I wanna know!
Gbrille 23. feb. 2018 kl. 12:24

Daily reminder that yes, I do member.

Pre-FTLs have markers on their systems now, and pre-snetients can still be seen under "species" (easier when they're IN your empire....)

I need this in my life.

Yeah! I 'memb'y!
epitomyofshyness 20. apr. 2017 kl. 16:55
Hi folk, I was wondering if you could make a version of this mod which adds a quest for Pre-Sentients. The Primitives have a map marker now, but Pre-Sentients still have nothing. Also if you could include a way to disable either of the quests from occuring (I don't know how hard this would be) I'd really appreciate it since I only need it for Pre-Sentients. If not not no worries, I have no idea how hard all this is and wouldn't want you to feel obligated to help me me out :-P

I'm finally back and on a real computer (been on a laptop for months), and I fixed the crash now.

Terribly sorry about the wait.
Thank you @Ninja @BiggBenn @K W
Ferret 31. dec. 2016 kl. 21:41
I am getting the runtime error/crash too, the day any special project from this mod finishes. This mod worked fine before-hand on the same save and I did not add any new mods. I am into about year 300.
BiggBenn 29. dec. 2016 kl. 4:01
Started getting a runtime error too, after like 25 ingame years, when a special project concludes

Probably my fault anyway, got like a million mods on.

I do very much appreciate your mods!
norse 27. dec. 2016 kl. 8:08
Just bought this game 2 days ago, and here is a mod that fixes that one tiny detail in this game that was annoying me so much. Love that I can look up the mods, and right away find that mod that I wouldnt have thought someone would do something about.

Thankyou.
Olafr_the_Viking 18. dec. 2016 kl. 11:33
Olafr the Viking has finally decided upon who will be awarded the Modder of the Year Award for 2016.

And the winner is:

I get a runtime error when the special project concludes. Any explanation?
Erbkaiser 13. dec. 2016 kl. 0:33
Thanks for the update. Really annoying that they changed everything again :/
folk  [ophavsmand] 12. dec. 2016 kl. 18:28
Uploaded new version:
Paradox broke special project groups (event chains) in 1.4
Paradox broke special projects requiring observation posts in 1.4
Paradox broke my soul
Added "Never" button for rewards
Removed the project grouping, they all show in the root now
If you were already in a game with the addon, any projects in the event chain will not give you a reward any more, plus the event chain entry will never go away (but then again, lots of vanilla events have been bugged this way, too)
folk  [ophavsmand] 12. dec. 2016 kl. 15:04
Dammit Paradox really fucked me with 1.4.
I can't use the special project requirement that you have an observation post above the planet any more. It just doesn't work, you can research the projects without any obspost.

We will see what I do about this, maybe I remake the addon from scratch. Problem is with the laptop I am using now for the next two weeks it takes ages to restart Stellaris.
folk  [ophavsmand] 12. dec. 2016 kl. 11:17
Yes, the comma is impossible to remove.
I will take a look at the other issue later today.
Thank you.
Erbkaiser 12. dec. 2016 kl. 10:53
Found two things:

1) You removed the "Available" localization, but not the comma, so now everything ends on a comma instead. Is it easy to also remove that one?

2) Not 100% sure of this one yet, but in a certain system I found primitives AND a colonizable planet. Once I colonized the planet the situation log entry disappeared, but the 'event chain' holder (Member primitives?) is still there even though it currently has nothing below it.
It seems like once a system is colonized, this mod doesn't really know how to handle any other planets in the same system.
Vaz 12. dec. 2016 kl. 2:00
I'd also like an immersion-friendly version.
folk  [ophavsmand] 11. dec. 2016 kl. 15:14
If you do, feel free to upload it, and I will link it from here.
But wait until tomorrow because I will make some changes to the addon then, is the plan.
Erbkaiser 11. dec. 2016 kl. 10:25
That's understandable, folk. I'll follow the mod just in case (may even try to reword/re-picture it myself but that's unlikely).
folk  [ophavsmand] 11. dec. 2016 kl. 7:39
Yes, okay, I will fix this addon tomorrow.
@had yes.

@Erbkaiser you are only the 2nd person to ask for a immersion-friendly version of the addon, and I must say it's more work than I want to do for 2 of 1000 people.

However, if more people agree with you and tell me, then I will change it.
For me, games like Stellaris have zero immersion in the first place, and I play them while I do every other thing in the world. So for me, it's just fun to have something like this pop up. Not to mention the sound effect.
had 11. dec. 2016 kl. 7:36
Can you add option to never get reward.
Erbkaiser 11. dec. 2016 kl. 4:54
Good mod in what it does, but your text and picture choices are not fitting the game at all. Wish you'd make them more in line with the rest of the game.
RED-Life 10. dec. 2016 kl. 14:18
Lol the blue star on the background of your previews, I see what you did there.
folk  [ophavsmand] 8. dec. 2016 kl. 5:50
Ah, I see! Alright, thank you.
YellowApple 8. dec. 2016 kl. 4:46
@folk No, I'm talking about the popup from this mod that accompanies the one you're talking about. The gist of the message is that the mod can't add anymore "Member $primitive" tasks to the Mission Log because of some Stellaris bug regarding too many tasks inside of a category. The message explicitly tells the player to let you know if said message (or said restriction; the wording isn't clear) gets annoying :)
folk  [ophavsmand] 8. dec. 2016 kl. 2:26
@YellowApple you're referring to the popup when you find a primitive civ with a science ship survey, right?

That popup is not from this addon. It's from Stellaris.

If I want to remove that popup, I need to overwrite the entire primitive-civ system, which is crazy.
YellowApple 7. dec. 2016 kl. 19:10
On maps with lots of stars (and with mods that increase the number of pre-FTL civilizations), the constant pop-ups after hitting 20+ discovered primitive worlds do indeed get a bit annoying. An option like "thanks for letting me know, but don't bug me about it again" would be useful.
TheRandomFox 4. dec. 2016 kl. 7:03
I understand you don't play the game, but using images that completely deviate from the graphical theme of Stellaris just makes an otherwise great mod not-so-great by breaking the immersion.
Wahops 2. dec. 2016 kl. 14:02
I like the sound of this but the random rewards make me feel like i'm cheating since the AI dont get them, can you just keep the alerts in the situation log so we dont forget them?
