I use the Remove Decoration Sprites mod by TPB:

I think you can disable grass and rocks sprites in the map theme editor as well.

jackyneusje you also need More Beautification mod by BloodyPenguin, which allows you access to a TON of things you can use, and they will all be located in the Landscaping menu button, there will be a new tab called Decals.

There s one thing annoying is that from distance most of the decal textures are not visible anymore =(
