If you know any Nepalis, they will happily take you to several of their favourite photo spots next to waterfalls or with the Himalayas in the background, since they all use them for FB profile pics.
Pokhara is my wife's hometown, and ever since I first visited it I've wanted to rebuild it on Skylines for her. I also think South Asia is a little under-represented, as I could find no maps and only one asset for the entire region.
You've done a stellar job here - I easily recognised the bridge I cross everyday for work.
If it's not too rude, I'd like to suggest a map of the Nepali city of Pokhara.
It's the second largest city in Nepal, and is easily the best place for tourists to visit.
It sits beside a large lake, Fewa Tal (with another on its outskirts), with a small picturesque temple on a tiny island inside of it.
Like all of Nepal, it's in a valley surrounded by mountains, dominated by Sarankot, and has great views of the Himalayas from any household rooftop.
A small river runs through the valley, it sits in the middle of a national highway.
Most houses are two story, highly colourful and containing small farm plots.
Dogs and cattle, which are sacred, roam the streets, and everyone either rides their scooter, catches the same model Suzuki taxi, or walks.
I can offer more info if needed.
Thank you for all your great work :)
I wish I were able to read your output log. It is probably something pretty simple.
STEPS: Turn on only all of the required trees (be sure each tree is active, don't miss one) and Network Extensions activated. No other mods or assets active. Once you activate, restart the game, then try a new city. Let me know if that works or not. (fingers crossed)

I have the latest Cities Skyline including afterdark and snowfall on Windows 7. The map loads with no trees or anything and the error message which I pasted above shows up.
i'm sorry about the red/blue references
OOoooookay @windowlicker.gx1. You and the Professor convinced me - I will give it a shot and see how long it takes running upgrade to regular highways. Maybe it won't be so long. Thanks for your excitement, it brought me a smile today
Anyhow, this map is a special one - it was a request by several players and is collaborative, which is why you see majortm11 under "created by", so... it has a lot of extra stuff. It won't be in other maps unless requested. My computer would be slow using Netw Extensions in-game even after the fix because it's not the fastest computer out there.
Hi @Nicola, yes that's a feature of the game. All trees go blurry at a certain distance. Without that, none of us except those with the highest end computers could play. You can try setting your graphics options of Detais to High or Very High and texture quality to high as well... as long as your computer can handle it. If it gets too hot, you may have to live with blurry trees like I do :D
