Yea, that was the whole reason I was looking for a mod to do it to begin with. Plus I would have to do it for the Tier 10 version too (the mod actually adds 2 upgrades). Plus I've already got my ship resorted now and everything. Thanks though. only recommendation I'd probably make is you may want to tag this mod with... something, to help people find it. It doesn't appear to have any tags. I only found it by sheer dumb luck actually.

You could make a Floran character, use admin mode to get a tier 9 ship, and rename the save files to transfer it to your Novakid. You would have to park your ship somewhere and move everything in it to storage containers on a planet first, though. Manually transferring ships between characters is an annoying process (which is why I made my mods).

I thought that may have been the case but but wasn't sure how the shipworld files work so thought I'd ask to be sure. My preference is for a Floran Ship over a larger Novakid Train so I'm still going to use this one anyway. Thanks for the response!

There is nothing that can be done to fix it without editing the Tier Nine Ships mod. My mods only affect the vanilla ships.

I think Chucklefish went down the wrong track when they railroaded Novakids into using trains.
Flying around in a train is so tiring. I always lose my steam and have to take breaks more often. I didn't mean to offend you, I should learn to conduct myself better.

If it is already tier 8, you are stuck with it. You will have to make a new character and upgrade the ship to tier 8 and rename the save files to give that ship to your original character.

i have tried this at least 10 times, but i cannot replace this ship. i got this mod, and now i want it gone, i removed EVERY. SINGLE. BLOCK. from the ship, upgrade it to tier 8 again, and still NOTHING! I WANT MY TRAIN BACK!

SP = Single Player? Yes, it will work in single player. "Multiplayer friendly" just means it will work in vanilla multiplayer without causing crashes.

If I understand correctly they'll still upgrade to hiegher tiers if on SP? Like tier eight Florian shit? Would you be willing to make an Avian to Florian? I despise the avian ship but it's my favorite race

Could you please do a floran ship for glitch mod? I want to play as a glitch but really don't like the castle ship.

The mod makes the game load a Hylotl ship when it is supposed to load a Novakid ship. It can only change your ship when it advances to a new tier.

Remove everything in your ship, including background walls, and upgrade it. If you're already at tier 8, make a new character and use admin mode to spawn a tier 8 upgrade, use it, and then copy the .shipworld file to your other character.
