You can copy .vpk file into addons folder, it will load instantly. I don't remember exactly how, but I stated something about it in desciption.

Thank you so much good sir... But what I wonder is, can we make it start without any latency?(What I mean is that the game spends 5 seconds to load workshop packs in, which doesn't let the theme appear at first but then kicks in and to be honest I didn't like it that way)

Yeah, I agree that first game is more atmospheric then second one.
Just remember first campaing, best colors combination - red and blue.

Or we should thank turtle rock first. Valve pretty much changed the whole l4d feel.. not in worse, yeah, but i enjoyed the original feeling; dark and melancholic ^^
