I like the Taxodium growing in our garden.
So I decided I'd plant some in my city.

Hey MrMiagi, glad you asked for a swamp version. I'm in the middle of making new fruit tree in two versions and one bush (promised some time ago) and a magnoila tree which is in a full bloom here where I live and will with big cheer do it when Mr.Maison would not have been so damn productive :-)) and I'm sure he'll do a great job as ever. Wish you luck with map project and thanks.

Mr Maison is almost finished with a swamp Bald Cypress, so that's covered. This will still be in the maps, so you'll be credited. Thanks for this tree again, I love it!

The knees, and spanish moss hanging down https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/90/6b/25/906b256174bafc270b034818decb378a.jpg
The water also causes them to get thicker at the base. Anyhow, somethign to consider. The maps are difficult so it will take quite some time, we just started. http://www.jamespreller.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/lrg_bald_cypress_swamp.jpg

Hey, we've started a group project to do two maps: New Orleans and another town next to it with some bayou (swamp). This tree is going to be in it as well as Mr Maison's mangrove. Would you consider making the swamp version of the Bald Cypress? The version you have here is a perfect replica of what they look like grown on land. When they're in the bayou swamp they have a very different look, but one that i am sure you have seen in movies. They grow tall and have less side branches, and grow "knees" as we call them. They are the roots coming up for air. They olften have spanish moss hanging from them. Would be cool to include that too if you like! http://images.nationalgeographic.com/wpf/media-live/photos/000/176/cache/louisana-bayou-tree-swamp_17628_600x450.jpg?01AD=3A95Hdr4SzDmbnlmy66Y72oxMJbuueXhXA7Le8q1q54JHd679iqLi-A&01RI=953003973060BC0&01NA=

LOL :steamfacepalm: I was telling myself "I swear I saw somewhere that it was 1000 and change tris... but where? Bear with me, I'm a bit slow sometimes. Definitely will recommend this tree to the person looking for a few decent conifers

I usually put for my trees this info embeded in the main picture but I added it in anyway in the textual description, and will do it for now on, thanks !

Great looking tree but a tris count is crucial for me to commit to this. Would love your help with this. Thanks.

Hey btw do you know how many tris it has? Just need to know so I know how many i should use

I always admire the level of dedication and patience the bonsai artists have. Thank you !

I love it!!! And if that was a bald cypress, they grow back like crazy even if you chop them to the very ground. I use them for bonsai, tough, beautiful trees. Thanks for making this! :steamhappy:
