@jamesy792 - do not use that option - the three invisible cars are the auto-reversing locomotives and baggage car - they will swap out automatically depending on the direction of the train.

Any ideas why this asset specifically ends up spawning with two invisible cars? I have the option selected on AVO to replace last car with an engine. The engine at the end shows, but the two passenger cars right before that don't show up (they're still clickable though).

@RobBobBobert - yes, though it's less of a priority, since the freight fleet looks better on the whole now than the passenger fleet does IMO.

Awesome train! I really like how close it is to Amtrak :) I took the Zephyr from CA to Denver, it was beautiful. So glad to have this (and other Amtrak trains) in my city ^_^ Thanks!

@Police officer Jacob Johnson - I don't use real life liveries on my trains. This one is heavily Amtrak inspired (read: ripped off) in both the paint scheme and the consist, but as did say in the description, is CityLink.

I have a fun idea that you should do in the future, It would be great to have a track repair or maintenance train. It could be a EMD - MP15AC hauling old commuter cars that are modify along with other freight type cars. I dont know if you would make it into a freight train or just passenger train or even a prop.

RaginRaptor - vehicles can't yet emit particle effects or have animated parts.

Delta - I'll definitely look into the specular issue - it looks great to me, but I'll check with other LUTs. I plan on keeping the windows as they are as they match the stock vehicles as well as my others.

Could you edit your specular map (_s)? At night the trainset looks strange with my LUT cause the overall level is too high. A good value seems to be RBG 18, 18, 18 or HEX #121212 (I use this on my vehicles from now on and also edit it on the existing ones - it's kinda the reflection level of the stock train)

Also it would be nice if you cange the window color from that blueish tone to a more grey, less saturated one (like #283136 ) :)

a way you could a make the train look like it has moving equipment is by having smoke or steam covering the wheels so you cant see the gear. im not sure you could do this but for all i know you might.

RaginRaptor - until there's a way to animate the running gear of a steam locomotive, I'm going to hold off - steam locos look really strange gliding across the tracks in C:SKY, and one like the Big Boy with so much running gear and exposed wheels would look really bad.

@RaginRaptor - currently, and this is in no way finalized, my next project is an autorack freight car and an SD40, an ACS-64 with Amfleet cars (and maybe an AEM-7), and then an F7A/B pair with streamliners and a 1940's freight consist as well. After those, I've been getting requests for Metro North/LIRR multiple units, and I want to do some Amtrak Cascades Talgo stuff along with some NJ Transit bilevels and ALP locomotives.

Delta - A cab car should be very simple! I may throw one together an make a fake Amtrak California consist at some point! I'll look into mirrors as well. For this train I used models I'd already created (tweaking the old commuter bilevels to become the superliners), so I didn't do too much modeling.

Great Superliner models! You could maybe add the side-mirrors on the engine - they wouldn't hit the tris count much :) also I'd like to see a cab car
