@Ushanka King it hasnt worked in years..... there are other mods that do a better hearse management, and fire, and trash, and other services.

@stheiting mod hasnt been updated since 2016, nad the dependency it uses is even older. it "might" seem to work but brings another issues you might not be aware.
There are other mods now that do similar work and better, updated much more recently and with an active modder working on them. Enhanced district services, as pointed by @LemonsterOG a couple comments below, is one of the more updated working mods.

Seams to be working, however, the game tells me on each start up that this doesnt work with Traffic Manager Presidential Edition, but again, it seams to be working fine..?

@vibez3 last mod update was march 2016, its obvious it doesnt do anything as it had become obsolete without updates when the game itself has suffered quite some changes since then.

@Laerr no i have not found anything, but as other mentioned maybe "central service dispatcher" mod might do the trick.
i had to solve my city hearse issue with old fashioned traffic management. creating some bus lanes and use traffic manager president edition to make only emergency and service vehicles use it instead of the buses. did the trick, but not the best solution.

@AKscene in case you didnt noticed, the mod has no updates since march 2016, so obviously it doe not work with all the game updates since then.... even the comment before you was from 2017.... long long time ago.....
there are other mods that do about the same, but i havent tested any of them recently to tell you which is the best now.

@Exes - Unfortunately I cannot recommand any right now. Districts has proven to be disappointing so far. I'm currently runinng with a mod called 'Central Services Dispatcher' which seems to be doing a reasonable job. You may wish to look into that one.

I noticed that too. With TMP and Enhanced Garbage or Enhanced Hearse on the game, the vehicles spin in the roads, don't pickup, keep getting rerouted........I finally gave up, unsubbed from TMP and Enhanced G and H and just subscribed to DISTRICTS by Gsteigert to keep ALL my city service vehicles inside a district. Works a lot better. And I don't really miss TMP's extras.

AKIRA: Have you updated for 1.5? I'm hoping this is my problem. In most of my city (running 81-tiles) hearses pick up their loads correctly .... but in the bottom (near the edge of the map) , they run from one house to another in that zone/district, saying they are "loading a body" but the capacity bar (that shows the % of load they already have) never shows anything but 0%. Also, I followed one through ten pickups - at which point it should have shown 100% full and headed back to the crematorium. It started making an 11th pickup and was still showing 0% load. Meantime, at the upper end of my city (also out against the edge of the map) another neighborhood has hearses working fine, just as they should. Same (correct) behavior all over the map except in this one spot. If you could fix whatever is causing this, I'd be so very grateful.

AKIRA, sure would like to see a mod like this for clinics, police, and fire departments if you ever have time for it. Meantime, LOVE your hearse and garbage mods. They force my CS game to make sooooo much more sense and accomplish so much more with so much less.

answering Shawn Shannon: I've been treating the area referred to as DISTRICT as if it is the ZONED area and placing crematoriums in the ZONED area I want them to cover. The hearses seem to stay inside that zoned area till there are no more dead to pick up there; then they collect elsewhere. So, yes, I think DISTRICT and ZONE are the same thing.

A question for AKIRA: Can you make a mod like this one for the FIREHOUSE VEHICLES too?

And also, a question for anyone to answer: what is a "district"? Is that the Zoned area? I can't find info on that anywhere, so am not sure I'm placing my crematoriums and incinerator plants correctly for optimum use.

Your Enhanced Hearse Mode (working in my After Dark Cities Skylines after the 1.04 update) has completely cleaned up my dead bodies problem - WONDERFUL.
QUESTION: I still have a HUGE number of sick people. Would you be able to create an Enhanced AMBULANCE mod? I'd dearly love to see that, if you have time.

i use a hearse mod with only 1 body ocupation ( as it should be, noone wants a dead family member next to a dead stranger body in real life lol) and for what i have noticed, it sends hearses one by one only to that building. on other hand, this mod also makes hearses routing a bit mroe efficient, so it will hardly get you having several bodies in the same building, since it will pickup a dead eprson in a more efficient way and prevent others to get sick and also die i believe.

what happens when there's 2 or 3 or more bodies in a single building? and what if no hearse has enough space to carry all of them? Does the game send out multiple hearses enough for all or sends one, that gets filled, and then sends another one?

Basically I worry about a hearse with 9 bodies being the only one directed to a house with like 3 more dead people in it. I'd rather the hearse just go home when its just driving around with 7+ bodies in the back.

Hello, I'm having issues with this mod where hearces won't leave cemetries to empty, only to pickup bodies. I've disabled this mod and the issue is resolved. Can you please investigate?

is there a mod like this for ambulances? i have a big city and several hospitals and a lot of lcinics, but ambulances seem to travel way too far and by the time they get there, the ppl. is dead...

This mod works great actually, but it doesnt work with the vehicle restriction from TMPE.

I have the same problem as @3hope @GS96|GamerChick. Perhaps its better to iniciate a new game (start with the mod already on) or it doesn't matter.

Thanks for the attempt.

I am having the same issues as others with the destination changing every few seconds. This results in the hearse going around in circles and never picking up any corpses. Also these residents may be right beside one another so I don't beleive that it's a district or zone issue.

Doesn't work ... when I enable it my maps won't load. It gets to like 5% and stops. Nothing more, game just hangs :(

Does Garbage and Hearse AI deal with path finding as well? I suspect there might be a slight incompatability with Traffic magager President Edition... I just tried and they begin to trop of after a while...

I do not use the minimize the number of vehicles option, not are they in districts. (they arent in districts on purpose)

No, its not on. and optomise urgent pickup is on. There are deaths in all districts too. Some crematoriums are within districts, others not, they are all facing the same issue.

@Flashfake Is 'Minimize the number of hearses' option ON? If the option is ON, offers from outside of the primary zone (the district) and secondary zone are ignored. If vehicles go to the outside, they despawn. And this mod makes offers if there are dead person in the primary zone and secondary zone. So, if crematorium is going between 0-1, it means there is no dead person for pickup in the primary zone and secondary zone.

@Akira The garbage truck AI seems a lot more stable now. However, the hearse AI seems to not not pick up bodies initially. In the end, the crematorium was going between 0-1.

I was wondering...is there not something in your searching loop that affects both Garbage and Hearse AI? It seems to happen after a bit of time. All works well and then just stops after a few minutes. The numbers decrease, and then its fighting at 0-1. It is the same game I emailed you for Garbage truck AI.

Not working with Rush Hour and NEP.
Hearses change their mind every few seconds and never pick anybody up.
Ambulances say "the other hospital can do that" and stay inside.

I installed this last weekend and played for a few hours on a saved city (not a very big city but a saved one nonetheless). Mod works fine. Great job, thank you for fixing this and keeping it updated.

Reika, are the places your hearses looping tourism or entertainment zoned? Without this mod when I have a crematorium placed within one of these zones they endlessly loop within it. Have to have the crematorium outside of a district for them to behave.

The two-street loop thing is happening in my game now even with this new version. I've never used the old version. There are 6 or so places in 2 connected streets where dead bodies have been for a few in-game months now and I see maybe 9 hearses patrolling the same area. They just keep switching targets: "Picking up dead body from <place>" then switch before they even get to that place.

What's funny is that the fixed garbage truck AI, which I also have, seems to be fine.

So nice to actually watch the hearses be productive!!! What, pick up a dead body before it causes every resident to jump ship! Ridiculous! #sarcasm #nomoreredskulls
