cant find it.. Not working
Avanya  [autor] 27 ENE 2024 a las 6:43
@misa88: It sounds like it's accidentally been given RICO settings. Open the settings with Ploppable RICO and find it there, then click the button to remove RICO settings, click save in Ploppable RICO and then restart the game.

Somehow the clarifier suddenly has disappeared from my water treatment overview of buildings and also built clarifiers only show as housing, hence do not function as sewage treatment in my games anymore. Any idea why that might be?
Avanya  [autor] 28 MAY 2023 a las 1:04
@ROAR_XD: Yes, assets (= buildings, props, trees, networks, citizens, etc) almost never break if they don't rely on mods to work, which is why this one hasn't been updated in ages. :)
Reixt 27 MAY 2023 a las 3:54
is it still compatible to the latest version of C:S?
JiggleBalls 2 FEB 2023 a las 23:49
nice wooooooooooooork!!!
Avanya  [autor] 20 MAR 2022 a las 5:22
@Novus: Like I explained in my reply to Hydra just below it's an option for sewage treatment.
Novus 19 MAR 2022 a las 14:08
So, what does this building do?
HopelessDecoy 17 MAR 2022 a las 13:00
@Avanya No it ended up being my misunderstanding, the pollution number in stats is only for ground pollution and not water. So you are good :)
Avanya  [autor] 17 MAR 2022 a las 10:54
@HopelessDecoy: Sounds like a mod that's changed the stats. This building should produce noise pollution, but no ground pollution
HopelessDecoy 15 MAR 2022 a las 19:23
I am not sure if it is this mod but it seems to make all water buildings produce 0 pollution. Unless something else is going wrong..
Avanya  [autor] 27 ENE 2022 a las 8:36
@Hydra: It's an option for sewage treatment if the category on the right under the smaller image, the "modular sewage treatment facility" and the "Sewage pumping capacity" didn't give that away. You plop it, connect the pipes and then it treats your city's sewage.
Consuela 26 ENE 2022 a las 6:52
"It's a clarifier - not much more to say about it." How about what it is and what it does?
melbchef2 12 ENE 2022 a las 18:57
bsbrdv.. i have same problem, think it may have been a mod added, do you know what you changed to get it back again?
bsbrdv 20 NOV 2021 a las 16:02
@Avanya
NM, I finally got something right and found it again. I don't know where it was hidden or why. But it, as well as others, are back. Been having to do a lot of teching my own problems to get the game to work again.
bsbrdv 20 NOV 2021 a las 12:23
Avanya, I have been using this clarifier for ages. But recently, along with other assets, I am not finding the clarifier anywhere in-game. I use find it 2 and it is not there. It is not shown with other assets in the water category. Workshop shows I am subscribed to it. So where is it? Do you have any answers? I should explain, too, the same thing had happened to the Art Deco water tower. But for some reason it came back today. There are others this has happened to but I can't recall which they were.

Plz understand I am not blaming you for its disappearance but I am hoping your experience might help me get it back.

Thanks

This mod , NHB Water Pumping Station , move-it and extra start money are great mods.
Mardoin69 30 MAY 2021 a las 10:00
@Sherlock....Yes! It's basically a sewage treatment facility. It separates the junk from the water so that the water can be discharged or recycled without littering poop all over the environment. Those tanks hold the sewage water.
Andrew Whiteingale 7 MAY 2021 a las 3:24
is sewer water inside those black circles?

useful ! must have mod.
Avanya  [autor] 26 NOV 2019 a las 5:37
@GMOKan: If you're asking what this building does, then it treats sewage. Hence it being in the "Water & Sewage" category, being part of the "Modular sewage treatment facility" collection and having "Sewage pumping capacity" listed in the description.

If you want to know how a clarifier actually works in real life, then you should type your question into Google instead. ;)
GMOKan 25 NOV 2019 a las 16:02
What is a clarifier? What does it do?

This is the best Sevage asset on the workshop by far
scabiness 21 JUL 2018 a las 19:46
As a waste water engineer, this mod triggers something very primal in me... subscribed :)
Avanya  [autor] 26 DIC 2017 a las 14:32
@sunscreemer: I don't think I've seen that kind of vehicle on the workshop. As for your suggestions with specialised waste that's something that's beyond me. I don't know how to code, which would be needed for that. But it definately would have been cool to use it to fertilise or create biofuel. :)
sunscreemer 26 DIC 2017 a las 12:56
Just seen the biogas facility- could someone make a mod that treats (pun) the sludge as a special type of waste and only collects it from sewage places and takes it to biogas places in the right vehicle. Obviously a facility probably wouldn't need to transport sludge on site but could it go to biogas places off site and make energy? Likewise thinking about any other bi products of a sewage farm that could be put to use as a resource. Just a thought I'm no expert on sewage farms!
sunscreemer 26 DIC 2017 a las 12:49
Great idea- I was thinking since I first played the game that this would be far more realistic as these facilities are how sewage is treated- as it generates garbage a sludge tanker refuse vehicle might be an idea- do you know if anyone has made one that works and suits? There's a mod to set vehicles leaving depots, although of course you can't guarantee where they'll go. Wondering if there's any other options such as what do sewage plants do with the, ahem, end product? Fertiliser? There may be a way to add functionality with buildings that produce stuff, might be worth looking into the workings of sewage treatment if you're a modder, maybe a research facility that acts as a university building too?
untmdsprt 21 NOV 2017 a las 15:01
Looks like something else has disabled the achievement mod. :( Going to check to see if there has been an update to the game.
Avanya  [autor] 21 NOV 2017 a las 1:48
@untmdsprt: Assets don't disable achievements. Assets like this aren't mods. Mods modify the game, this asset doesn't do that. You must have a mod enabled (check the mod section of the content manager in game).
untmdsprt 20 NOV 2017 a las 17:21
This mod disables the achievements mod. :( Will have to uninstall.

Nice visual update :3
SkiRich 8 OCT 2017 a las 9:55
That would be so cool. Please update ....
Avanya  [autor] 8 OCT 2017 a las 9:53
@wadeal: I doesn't rotate atm, but I do have plans to update it to do so. I just haven't had much time for Cities lately, but it's high on my to-do list.
wadeal 8 OCT 2017 a las 5:40
Is the surface skimmer meant to move or rotate? If not can you make it do that would look pretty cool.
SkiRich 3 OCT 2017 a las 10:49
Thanks for consideration. Maybe you can make a duplicate asset and leave this one alone? Just make the grey water medium darker and make it part of your collection?
Avanya  [autor] 3 OCT 2017 a las 3:32
@SkiRich: I'll consider it, but it's the kind of changes that's bound to not fall into everyone's taste. And this one has been around for a long time with lots of users, so it's always iffy to make larger changes to it's appearance.
SkiRich 2 OCT 2017 a las 15:36
Wonderful asset. I use it in all my cities. One suggestion. Can you darken the grey water? Clarifiers are usually raked across a medium that is dark grey/brown in real life just like in your screenshot of the real thing. With the use of realistic LUTs in game this Clarifier shows up as light grey and doesn't quite look like liquid. It looks like a solid top tank.
Avanya  [autor] 9 JUL 2017 a las 5:04
@YOLO DoomHammer: Yes, you should be able to subscribe to it like normal. What sort of problem are you having?
YOLO DoomHammer 9 JUL 2017 a las 0:17
CANT we donwload it anymore ?
CasualConvict 2 JUL 2017 a las 5:29
I am gonna google it thanks for the help :D
Avanya  [autor] 2 JUL 2017 a las 5:23
I'f there's water flow it should disappear over time. I've also seem some people do a system where it's run through several times, but I'm not sure how that's done or if it would work in your situation.
CasualConvict 2 JUL 2017 a las 4:53
Wow, quick response. Alrigt do you know any way I can fix it?
Avanya  [autor] 2 JUL 2017 a las 4:51
@samuelcroll.sc: No, the sewage in the sea will have to dissipate over time to go away. This asset will only treat sewage without creating any polluted water.
CasualConvict 2 JUL 2017 a las 4:49
Please answer this asap, will this clean the sea since I have a probem: my sewage drains had pumped the sewage but when I reached the population to unlock the water treatment plant I removed drains and replaced and everything is fine now except I have a big blob of sewage in my sea. So will this be able to drain that up and clean it so it isn't dirty anymore since I hate the look of it. thx
Sparkster 7 ABR 2017 a las 7:26
Ah okay. Then I've done it right.^^ Thank you.
Avanya  [autor] 7 ABR 2017 a las 4:16
@Sparkster: There's no need for any special setup, just make sure it has road connection, pipes connected and isn't too far away from a garbage facility, then it's all good.

If you'd like to connect the pipes in a realistic order, then sewage goes through the Grit and Screen facility first, then the clarifiers, then the activated sludge tanks - at least that's the case for the facility I used as inspiration. :)
Sparkster 7 ABR 2017 a las 3:48
How do I set the clarifier up correctly?
