@Ω You might as well use the original source listed in the description (but I fixed the paint weights for the fingers a long time ago). But sure go ahead.

It's gonna a long time before I get around to porting these models again.
Someone made their own Soundwave ragdoll in gmod.

The transformers devestation models of soundwave and shockwave are really cool. I have a fun time posing them in sfm. I was wondering, could we get devistation Optimus Prime perhaps? I know there are already a few Primes on the workshop, but it would be so cool to make stuff with an Optimus that looks just like the original G1.

Ok so i have imported the model. It "works"? um idk if thats the right word for this, and i hope you had this issue. But basically the textures have been inverted i think. Like the last issue im stilll researching but any help is awesome.

Oh right he didn't explain that in the videos well. Hold I'll get to you on that soon. I still have trouble with textures settings as well. Especially with this one.

How do i get the shiny textures added to the base tex in Blender. I can only add 1 uv map (which sorta makes sense) But basically what i have so far is i have rigged it(Im good with this), now i am adding textures and when i first downloaded the folder you get like i think its 30 textures including tex_b, tex_c, etc.(I downloaded The blue cassette i call him either frenzy or rumble so..) and he has 30 texs actually. But tex2 has an _b, _c format and your soundwave has the shiny stuff on his model so i'm fairly confident you can help. I tried looking up adding multiple UV maps to a surface but no use as of late. I am still trying to look so if i find it i can let you know.

Hey. I know you sent me that link with that long tut thank you for that. But is there a chance that you could video it(I understand if you cant i just ask if you could create a video tutorial). This video could possibly cover all of the key blender aspects and other things so it doesnt take so long to learn. I am no stranger to a computer, but i am sure others could benefit to this as well as I. Thanks Bud.

It's really not that had just use VTFEdit, import the original texture, convert it as .vtf, and replace this model's textures.

I would have to rig it. Also, I too busy with porting Iron Man models.
Eitherway, it would be best if someone more experienced were to port Optimus. I'm not too happy with the way the textres came out on this one.

I'll probably leave that for the pro's or if nobody takes it I'll give it a shot. I might have rip the model myself as no one has with the bones intact and I think one of the textures are missing. Either way I'm going to be busy to do anything anytime soon.

I could. Right now I'm looking into fixing the textures a little bit before I do. Eitherway I think someone made their own Soundwave model (not a port but from scratch!) so in the meantime you could use that.
