Technically yes, but if you give a secondary an ammo pool the hud get really screwy for the slot. Very hard to read and the icon gets weird.

Hey! Make sure you don't have any other mods installed that change the scripts for pistols / magnum. This mod does not alter weapons spawns. Try running a session with just this mod to see if it is a mod conflict or an edge case that requires a re-install.

For some reason my mod doesn't work, it's still a secondary even though all of my friends also have it installed in the same game. It replaces one of the primary weapons on the table at spawn but thats about it.

That would be weird since this does not change the damage the magnum deals. I'll play w/ it when I have some time

Awesome add-on! Loving the magnum with laser sight. For some reason it removes the magnum's one hit kill ability for the common zombies in realism though.

wow this is kinda shit. I mean it's cool and all, but turning the Deagle into a primary doesn't sit with me right imo.

I considered fixing that issue but I have not attempted to modify survivor AI yet. I did not create this mod with singleplayer in mind. I'll play around with it and see if I can get a fix out

Great mod, but buggy if used in single player. AI can't decide which primary to take, Desert Eagle or another primary. Nick and Rochelle just go back and fourth xD. And it becomes annoying at stages where all players have to be on something in order for it to be used, like the elevator on Warcelona (custom map). But overall love this mod. Makes the pistols viable to carry into the late stages.

Yes I did. The third-person view is the console command: thirdpersonshoulder The crosshair is not accurate in this mode. I only used it to show off the addon.

Perhaps you misunderstood) The screenshots show a custom third-person user view? If so, is there a problem with aiming?

Wow, I like this mod.

Make sure you don't have any other addons that modify the weapons in this addon. Disable all other addons, if this one doesn't work then reinstall it. Should also mention that it only works if you are the host.

I cannot do that, if the pistols are the only thing you have when you go down, you end up being completely defenceless.

can you have the basic pistol replace the desert egale instead for the primary slot. i wanna use the basic pistol and a melee

Good job right there! Thanks to your mod, I found out how to move melee weapons to the primary slot and the Uzi to the pistol slot. Later I even discovered how to use it while incapped. Thank you!

OH! That's the bots thinking that the Deagle is still a secondary. I cannot do anything about it because that's how the bots are coded to work.

If all else fails, I would verify the files of Left 4 Dead 2.

I don't see why it would be affecting the Scar since the addon does not modifiy the files of the scar. Perhaps it may be a differeny addon? It could very well be a one time bug. I've looked it over and don't see what could be causing the issue, Double check that you do not have any other addons that would modify the scar's scrpits.

They may seem like a terrible solution, have you tried to reinstall the addon? I have heard of similiar cases of mods acting strangely because of an error in the download.
