It does not appear in game. Is it still supported and if not why is it still in here?

@cRAGGLE: You are now officially excommunicated.

Looks good from the front. From the back ... well, let's just say I understand now why you only included screenshots from the front.

Great effort, thank you. Looks very nice and I would go in for a church service.

@❖CXonor24❖ I think I have close to 1,000 downloaded assets... my saves would be pretty bare if I uploaded them! Lol!
Sanguine 18 okt, 2015 @ 11:48
Your save games all look so AMAZING Aly! Is there any way you can upload the saves so other people can admire the beauty of your cities? <3

well, the higher you go the higher the intensity of light will be too. However, they did a good job in making it so that it's not an overpowering intensity. most people use 255 for the lights they want on the longest and use other lower numbers to have some variations on the building.
SwtTeas  [skapare] 18 okt, 2015 @ 1:47
Ah! See, I was a little confused then. I thought higher numbers would give more intensity, not duration. Probably rather sadly, windows & lighting have taken me the longest to figure out in this process, even though now that I did it it seems like the simplest part, lol.

128 stays on the shortest and gradually the higher you go the longer your lights will stay on.

ah well I used to be really concerned about lod count, I've relaxed a little bit on that. I mean I still think the lower the better but for my at least I think its important to keep the structure of the building even if it means adding a few extra tris. I also delete all hidden polygons as well and I look for areas that can be simplified even further, what I mean by that is if I can find an area that has 4 triangles and will still look the same for 2 triangles. You lod size is acceptable to me.

255 is what stays on the longest throughout the night.
SwtTeas  [skapare] 18 okt, 2015 @ 1:32
@shroomblaze thanks for the feedback! :) I think I did 150 for the lights - would a higher number have them come on more at night then?
I'm honestly not sure how much to remove from a lod. The filesize was getting much higher than I wanted it to be, so I cut where I thought acceptable - I could certainly put those two pieces back on. Just to make sure, it's only the two side pieces disappearing correct? If it's actually gone see through or something that wasn't intended and something needs to be flipped.

lights turn on and off. they are on a fading system. 128-255 will slowly fade throughout the night and back again. I think you did a good job modeling this. My issue is with the LOD, I see so many people do this and I don't understand why they do. The sides of your building disappear and I know you probably did this to save on the triangle count for the lod but honestly If it's going to change the major shape of the building then just include it, a few extra triangles is not going to hurt. I count 16 extra tris for that part of the building, that's not much. :chirp:
