Yes, but Gmod didn't update to that version of the Source Engine until years later.
The map does have AI Nodes. However, it does not have a NavMesh, which some NPC Addons require.
This map was made before Gmod supported NavMeshes, which was first introduced in L4D and CSGO.
;)

All good man, no worries
Dunno man, the files for this map has not changed in 6 years so it has to be a problem on your end.
What do you mean when you say "reinstalled". The only way to properly uninstall a map/addon is to delete the workshop addon file in your addons folder. Unsubscribing/subscribing won't do anything to the map file other than not load it when the game starts. So if the file is corrupted you have to manually delete it and launch gmod to re-downlaod the addon. It seems to have worked for other people posting here with similar issues in the past.
If that still doesn't work then it is probably another addon you have installed that is interfering with the loading of the map in some way.
Hi Luca, I'm afraid those tree models are not made by me. I think the trees and all the vegetation were from a Garry's Mod prop pack I downloaded back in 2009. I remember not being able to find the original author to give them credit in the description when uploading the map. If anybody knows where they are from, please let me know.
As for the other models like the crystals in the river cave, those were made by me and you are free to use them as long as I'm credited👍
I wanted to ask if I could use your tree and similar props for a custom proppack which I create for a CW:RP server. Credits are self-evident.
Friendly greetings
Luca
Hey, thanks man. I would say it is a combination of my custom textures/materials and my use of displacements.
There are still some graphical features I had to cut since the engine couldn't handle it. For example the river originally had a foam texture flowing on the edges that made it look nice, but it was flickering due to the water not being planar. So I had to remove it. It works perfectly on rivers that are completely flat.
I had also made custom static meshes to detail the cliff faces with smaller details, but GMod renders displacements and static meshes with different shaders, so it looked awful.
CS:GO updated that a few years back so you can seamlessly blend displacements and static props with both sharing the same type of shaders.
