You should expect to need CS:S for anything regarding Counter Strike or in most cases highly detailed maps. I don't know why it's so hard to understand that.

@RocketSoldier PL because gmod came out in 2004 and runs on source, CS:GO came out in 2012 and runs on a modified source engine. Your like asking why a VHS doesn't play on a bluray player.

@VainKakskytKirjainta You need CS:S for these maps because there ports of CS:GO beta maps to CS:S.
