I think Nick's skintone matches when you're in a normal map like Dead Center map 2. The skin tone is made like that on purpose because most of the natural in-game lighting and shading of skin makes the characters look darker and more tanned on max graphics.

You should call this the "Nick's skin tone fix mod" because it's really no longer a hands fix.

ya i just called it sorta obsolete because they did technically fix the issue where there was a distinctive line in the middle of nick's hands. like i said i still like the skin tone in this one better IMO

This addon doesn't feel obsolete to me. The game after The Last Stand update still have the ugly Nick's hands default texture. I don't care if this addon turned obsolete, is still very useful to me.

this happens with basically any nick model replacement, i've discovered. i don't know how to fix it or what's causing it because it even happens with alternate animations.

@eatingcookie I couldn't tell you off the top of my head since it's been so long since I've played this game, but I believe it was either in a pack of the default weapons reanimated or just the default pistols reanimated.

The L4D1 survivor's hands have some pretty obvious texture issues, Bill especially. Could you look into that? ;)

@Juleris L4D Survivor Fix isn't mine, so I won't upload it here. The other L4D2 survivors don't have this issue, and neither to the special infected. They're all pretty spot-on except for Nick's which is why I made this.

Could you post your L4D Survivor Fix on Workshop as well? And question, do any other L4D2 Survivors other than Nick have this issue? Also, check if Special Infected have similar issues. I want everything fixed. :)

The L4D1 hands look really strange to me, not exactly meant to work with the L4D2 anims, i think. Maybe you can fix that? Also, good mod.

Anyways. I love the skin. Keep it on workshop forever. And this should've been here originally. Nicks hands look more realistic now. Nicks original hands looked like what i would imagine would be beta L4D2 files. But this makes it look more retail and realistic! Thanks for puttin this up for peeps to use! :D

@♫Joe (USA)♫ The vomit texture is a transparent overlay that's automatically put on survivors whenever they're thrown up on, using the $detail perameter in the .VMT, so there's no separate texture for each individual survivor.

@friendlyheavy No, but I was planning on making a version where if you DO have a skin pack like that, Nick's hands always match it by referencing Ellis' textures. @mr.sentry & Pootis>trade.tf, the map is called TUMTaRA, The Ultimate Mod Testing and Reviewing Area, and if you search TUMTaRA right here on the workshop, you should be able to find it.
