Crashed me.
VooDooLarry 16 ENE 2022 a las 19:00
This mod still works. Use District Info View to interact with the nameplate (change name/theme etc.) and District Tools to paint and specialize (nameplate interaction isn't available when tools are open.)
testudo 19 OCT 2021 a las 14:15
As this is no longer developed, may I suggest switching to "Toggle It!" mod, where you can switch district names on and off at will via a button.
(I have no affiliation whatsoever with the maker of that mod.)

@the park life issue, i never noticed that. i always using the actual park exit/entries to get into the ui..
Warchief  [autor] 23 NOV 2018 a las 19:17
Sorry, guys, I am not actively developing any additional changes or updates to newer versions. This still works as intended with the latest version as far as I know, but that's it for now.

Thanks for the interest.

Could you make a mod which can hide the icons while watching the city at the higher view?
baronjutter 8 SEP 2018 a las 12:26
Will this hide my park names too?

[PARK POLICIES] - 07/29/2018

To get around Park Zoning policies > Hit 'policies button' to see districts > notice where the park district name is > hit policies again > naviage on the area where the park name is > should highlight > click on it > DONE!

Seem like the mod simply has no click function on the park district as it’s probably doesn't fully recognize it. But it is minor shit guys. It still works as intended.

Cheers!

[WORKS WITH PARK LIFE] - 07/28/2018

Hey guys, Warchief has reached out to troubleshoot this mod. I am here to report that it is absolutely working without any issues. I am running my game with all of the dlc plus all the major mods and over 3000 assets. There is a bug with park zoning - the entire map is covered with a sort of a zone you can erase but it does absolutely nothing. That bug is unrelated to this mod, if you disable District UI Tweaks it’s gonna be still there. Not a big issue in my opinion. Otherwise, works flawlessly.

Thank you so much Warchief! Let me know about DLCs. Cheers! :wizard:

Need update since parklife DLC, it's very hard manage the park district with that mod. A easy way should be to put a button on/off somewhere in the ui game.
--JR-- 29 MAY 2018 a las 16:53
No longer displays names in district view after the parks update.
dove 9 MAY 2018 a las 6:19

BonBonB really did drive home that I should rate content creators in one of his videos. I have been too lazy for years but I'll do it now. Thank you for making my cities so much prettier!
Isaiah53six 14 FEB 2018 a las 22:46
Hiding district names is useful but a in-game toggle to display those names on or off would make this mod more fantastic.
rovaira2 3 NOV 2017 a las 17:50
I'm assuming this mod removes the icons for districts as well; I'm looking for that. Thanks.
Zlaayer 15 JUL 2017 a las 0:22
Twice in the past few days I've had my districts all reset to default theme. I have 100 districts, it's no easy feat to fix. This is the only district related mod I've downloaded this week. Is anyone else having this problem? BTW streifenzebra, the mod appears to work for me. District names don't appear in my UI. The mod may be bugged, though.
eachday 3 JUL 2017 a las 8:56
ok, but where is the button or command to actually hide district names and icons? I subscribed and those names and icons are still there (mod is activated). I cant find where is the interface to make the "hidding" to happen. Is it in the 'Options' menu? Is there a switch or button to activate the mod? Where is it?
Aera 2 JUN 2017 a las 17:24
So simple and so damn cool mod - :highlvl: !
benzoll 20 MAY 2017 a las 22:25

Crucified K. 26 NOV 2016 a las 21:08
How do I install it, and does it need a dll file ?
BiuBiuBiu 26 NOV 2016 a las 18:09
Confirm works with 70+ other mods 700+ assests up to date
Warchief  [autor] 4 FEB 2016 a las 12:13
@GordonDry

This mod is pretty lightweight and doesn't involve DistrictWorldInfoPanel.
The code is here http://pastebin.com/iQajzwhR , it only uses a few variables from DistrictManager.

If you are sure it's one of those mods, I'd bet on District Policies Highlighting. The other ones don't seem related to that panel.
GordonDry 26 ENE 2016 a las 16:46
I got this issue and I don't know if it's because of "District Policies Highlighting", "Toggle District Snapping", "District UI Tweaks: Hide Names" or "mabako's Hide District Policy Icons Mod".

But it seems that it is the reason for that issue:

@purringcat I guess you'll have to disable the other mods temporarily to figure that out. I don't have any reports of conflicting mods. Sorry.
purringcat 28 OCT 2015 a las 7:35
Great little mod and sorry to hear you've stopped playing. Does anyone know what conflicts with it. I added more mods and now it won't work.
Warchief  [autor] 12 OCT 2015 a las 10:33
Thanks everyone for the words. I have not played myself C:S in quite some time, so I don't expect to make updates to the mod. As @ShadowLea commented a while back, it should work fine with After Dark (thanks for the comment!).

I know it's not a big mod, but I hope people can keep enjoying it as the little tool it is to clear up UI a little bit.

Thanks, everyone.

@maxxmillian: The mod does not have any special code for clicking, it only sets a visibility flag. Maybe CS updates or AD change click properties when visibility changes, old CS didn't use it. Hope someone else can confirm the issue is really with this mod and not some other combination of factors. Thanks for your comment!
Maxxmillian 6 OCT 2015 a las 19:16
Works in hiding the names but prevents me from editing the policies on districts as I can't click on the names even in the Disctricts screen when they are showing.
Finwickle 4 OCT 2015 a las 12:45
This is a must-have mod for me, but sometimes I want the names to show while working in other menu's. Would it be possible to have some kind of manual toggle?
Fronto 3 OCT 2015 a las 8:09
With After Dark I'm using more districts, and this mod is essential for me.
Muzle84 27 SEP 2015 a las 8:22
@ShadowLea Thanks for info, Suscribed again! ("fresh start" for AD)
AquilaSol 25 SEP 2015 a las 8:17
Works fine with After Dark. :)
Kimchi 6 AGO 2015 a las 6:30
One of the best mods. It would be awesome to have some granular control such as hide name, hide policies, etc.
Adam3333 27 JUL 2015 a las 10:00
Good mod, does exactly what I wanted, however an in-game option to toggle the names being hidden would be very useful.
Also, I tried loading a game with the mod disabled (after having the mod previously enabled) and all district names have disappeared entirely, even in the districts menu, the outlines are still showing but the names have gone entirely.
