Did this ever get implemented in another mod?
Quboid 12 jan 2016 om 13:23
This still works for me, with the latest version + AD. I've mentioned on the Precision Engineering mod page as a possible feature as it seems related and PE is another indispensable mod with similar functionality.
PandaWaffles 30 nov 2015 om 17:17
This is one of the very few mods that are actually useful. I wish someone would continue this :steamsad:
baronjutter 31 okt 2015 om 12:52
I wish someone would make something like this again. Is there really no option to turn off all snapping? No one's figured it out?
Adventure Square 20 mei 2015 om 13:49
Thanks for the mod while it lasted. Hope you enjoy your next project.

I'm sorry guys.
I had things IRL that I had to take care of.
I haven't really been active with CSL anymore so I think I'll drop support for this.
People can easily make this so I'm sure someone else will fix it for you guys! :D
Herseraph 28 apr 2015 om 10:02
I'm having the same problem as Lord Rato, left-Alt keeps giving me an interchange. I have installed a few interchanges since downloading this mod, so maybe I have to uninstall this and reinstall and try again. Or possibly get rid of the interchanges.
Lord Rato 18 apr 2015 om 11:37
For some weird reason, when i press Alt it shows an interchange, instead of activating snap. Please, your mod is so amazing. :c
Delebre 18 apr 2015 om 9:19
Can we not change the hotkey yet? Can you at least make it so we can edit the XML to define a hotkey?
Epik 9 apr 2015 om 19:57
Yeah, it does not work for me with Fine Road Heights.
Lord Rato 8 apr 2015 om 20:10
Yep, something broke for me too, i have no other mods that touch the roads but the cartography one.
ItsMeTB 2 apr 2015 om 13:17
That's probably what happened to mine then.
Nosh2O 27 mrt 2015 om 21:43
I can confirm what Kirona posted about "Fine Road Heights" mod and compatibility with this not working.
Kirona 26 mrt 2015 om 18:20
http://sp.zhabite.com/workshop/browse?appid=255710
As of now (March 26), this mod breaks when the linked mod (Fine Road Heights, by Japa) is enabled.

I figured I'd mention that in case anyone's trying to use both :)
Rojoss  [auteur] 26 mrt 2015 om 8:26
Did you check if it works if you only enable this mod?
It might also be some changes in the game that broke the mod, but it's very unlikely.
ItsMeTB 25 mrt 2015 om 17:04
I love this mod, but unfortunately something broke it and I can't figure anything that would. Anyone know of incompatible mods?
Rojoss  [auteur] 23 mrt 2015 om 11:55
Something simple can be really useful! :)
CoyoteTraveller 22 mrt 2015 om 21:44
This mod is a godsend. Don't even bother playing hilly maps without it, switchbacks are an enormous pain otherwise.
Janito 18 mrt 2015 om 17:41
Ty!
jztemple 14 mrt 2015 om 10:46
This mod works great, thanks for providing it.
Kaddzy 13 mrt 2015 om 16:13
Love you :)
Rojoss  [auteur] 13 mrt 2015 om 14:42
Hahaa nice one ;)
Trenze 13 mrt 2015 om 14:25
Well I feel very silly. When I read your description I though you meant to hold L+Alt... Wow... You meant to hold the Alt on the left side. Forget what I meant about moving it closer to the WASD keys, this is perfect.

Sigh...
Rojoss  [auteur] 13 mrt 2015 om 13:41
Thanks man, glad it's working now :)
Meensai 13 mrt 2015 om 13:24
After a steam restart it finally loaded the updated files, all working properly now, thank you very much! (Rate and Fav given alreay ;) )
Rojoss  [auteur] 13 mrt 2015 om 9:53
Yeah the mod updating system is still kinda broken it feels like.
But I tested it on another PC and my laptop and it ran fine.
Mainstream 13 mrt 2015 om 9:52
It works for me now. Maybe you have to turn it on again, now that you've resubbed? I was wondering why it still didn't work, but mine had shut off.
Meensai 13 mrt 2015 om 9:46
Well, still not working, gonna unsub and resub in a couple mins, maybe steam is giving me the old files
Rojoss  [auteur] 13 mrt 2015 om 9:35
Just updated the mod with the bugs fixed.
It's not possible yet to change the key but I also added R-ALT just in case.
Meensai 13 mrt 2015 om 8:58
Awesome! :)
Rojoss  [auteur] 13 mrt 2015 om 8:56
Just fixed the bugs. Also fixed the icon so you can actually see it snapping.
Will just add a option to set up a key and then I'll update it.
Baleur 13 mrt 2015 om 8:50
Doesnt work. No idea why. Im using Swedish IME in windows, on a Chinese laptop lol.
eric 13 mrt 2015 om 7:30
Doesn't work for me either. Behaviour with L-Alt held down or not is same. (I have UI button set at "snapping" and it's snapping all the time.)

Great idea for a mod, hope you get it to work, this is something I would have expected the game to include.
Rojoss  [auteur] 13 mrt 2015 om 7:18
I'll look into it but it's gonna be hard to find out what's wrong as I wont be able to reproduce the issue.
Meensai 13 mrt 2015 om 6:08
Nah, I didn't even look at what the tool says, I directly checked how road placement behaves, it won't toggle and it also won't temporarily change while holding L-Alt, so no idea
Rojoss  [auteur] 13 mrt 2015 om 6:05
Keyboard layout shouldn't matter :O
Are you sure it doesn't work? Because the icon doesn't change but it will still work.
So it's not very noticable that it works or not.
Please let me know if that was the issue.
Meensai 13 mrt 2015 om 5:33
Sadly it doesn't work for me, Win7 Ultimate 64bit using CH-DE keyboard layout, ideas?
Trenze 13 mrt 2015 om 2:02
Sounds good!
Rojoss  [auteur] 13 mrt 2015 om 0:08
It will be configurable soon.
Trenze 12 mrt 2015 om 20:49
You say key binding for later, however, can you change it to something closer to the WASD keys? As thats what I use instead of the arrow keys.
Rojoss  [auteur] 12 mrt 2015 om 17:17
The tool is yes.
This adds a hotkey which you can press to quickly toggle it on and off.
It was requested on reddit so I made this real quick.
And the nice thing is you can just leave it on snapping and if you need a little precission you quickly hold L-ALT and then release it again later and it's back to snapping.
So it just makes it easier and faster to build roads.
SupaZee 12 mrt 2015 om 17:13
i thought this is already in the game left from the freeform/straight selector
