you can also change the solid black alpha to a very dark grey - that should avoid the phong.
But if it works now thats the thing that counts.

it has to do with the alpha channel - you need to unlock that.

how were you able to edit the magazine and lower stock? the workbench simply ignore my UV and replaces it with the original texture for the magazine :(
