i totally agree with you. i didnt plan anything far enough for this map i just put down a layout and block out and just added detail and buildings based off feeling. which is also why the map feels thematically inconsistent. everything definitely feels too boxy and straight + not much verticality for interesting gameplay. thank you for your nice comment though! taking everything into account moving forward :GDEasy:

Be proud, I've seen far worse on other first mapping jobs, especially the fact that you went to the length to add stuff the ray of light in the cave. Job well done! I look forward to seeing what you come up with from this point onward.

As for this map, the most glaring thing for me was how cubic and unnatural the buildings were, many are hexagon-ally curved and stuff and I think if you were to make one revision this would be the one that I think could really help to uplift the map quality.

thank you for your feedback. I agree with all of it :P this was just a big learning experience for me and hopefully my next map is more polished! :GDNormal:

This is very fun to play on. Altough it has some bugs (3d skybox and some in the non accsesable areas) and the factory part of the map not looking too great. Still I think you can be proud having this as your first map :carx_drift:
