WHERE IS OMNI MAN are you sure
RougeSable 21 mart. la 3:47
This awesome mod is part of our collection "Sirius - An arcade vision of a survival game" https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3154892496

Thank you to offer this to the community ❤️ And thanks a lot for keeping this mod up to date ❤️
JunoTheWildDog 8 mart. la 22:43
Is this still in active dev? Been using the other Omni mod as the turret variants break quite often. A timer block is required to switch them and off to get them going again else, they just freeze
Raidfire  [autor] 2 mart. la 15:00
Yes
RougeSable 2 mart. la 14:59
Is OmniBeam XT-5000 able to welder a projected block inside a grid, so the Beam can't see it directly from outside the grid ?
Vargali 25 febr. la 11:42
have placed a control seat and the drill does pulse for a second.... does not appear to be digging, but cargo has a 1000k rock... this is the large grid version... small grid deforms terrain just fine..
Vargali 25 febr. la 11:23
was trying to activate thru k menu while in passenger seat.. i have activate to on power on and nothing is drilling... the primary secondary was on my drill ship and did not want all the rock, just the ores, right clicking normally works with basic drills for voiding rock
Raidfire  [autor] 25 febr. la 10:52
Its pretty simple. Why are you using Primary and Secondary when you just jump in a cockpit. And then open the G menu in the cockpit and go to BlockTools category ;)
Vargali 25 febr. la 10:46
couple of questions... is there a right click option for the drills, i tried toggling from primary to secondary and nothing.... and i noticed power requirements are not listed... trying to figure out how much power for a stationary drill rig using large grid version.....
Raidfire  [autor] 25 ian. la 7:21
@Meya OmniTools was essentially the initial go at making ToolCore type tools. While it works fine and all it also allowing me to test ToolCore. So there is a new project coming out today called Project OmniArc wich is essentially a more advanced version and also has a more unique type of drill in it. Essentially project OmniArc gives you a welder type, grinder type(Yes i split them in this project to allow servers for more option when setting limits and so on) More compact blocks that fit with shipyards, and also has a two type drill system for miners.
Meya 25 ian. la 7:10
I loved BuildandRepair but this feels more in line with the game then magical nanobot magic :D great job again :D
Raidfire  [autor] 22 dec. 2024 la 12:51
It would normally only stop if its stuck on a block or cant weld a block because of missing components. Clogged up conveyors/containers
Jas-Azinar 22 dec. 2024 la 12:51
if the settings wasnt correctly set then they wouldnt be welding in the first place when placed down, the problem i am having is that they stop welding after a random period of time despite having ample power and ample components to draw from
Raidfire  [autor] 22 dec. 2024 la 12:49
Draw is just showing its detection line. Does nothing else. Check the turrets control panel. Also its max range is 200m + 400m radius. Youl need to toggle on various Work own grid etc. And also Activate and Tracking has to toggle on.
Jas-Azinar 22 dec. 2024 la 12:49
disregard that, its occurring after roughly 5 minutes of regular welding, i will try to get some sort of video if it
Jas-Azinar 22 dec. 2024 la 12:37
2 OmniBeam XT-5000 set to draw, welding a projected large grid on the same grid as itself about 20 blocks away, it appears that turning off Draw and replacing the Omnibeam XT-5000s has prevented the issue from re-occurring so it may have something to do with the draw function
Raidfire  [autor] 22 dec. 2024 la 12:31
I need to be able to reproduce it hence the video.
Raidfire  [autor] 22 dec. 2024 la 12:30
Are you welding smallgrid? And what is the setup OmniBeam X-1100 or OmniBeam XT-5000? Can you video it from start to finish how you begin and until the problem starts happening. Meaning making sure there is enough components, power in the video. And then just upload it to youtube and post it here. Alot of the times its because people dont check everything.
Jas-Azinar 22 dec. 2024 la 12:25
I'm having a problem that Nyxborne has already described about the Omnibeam repair lasers not actually doing any welding, this is nothing to do with a script either, just plain regular usage, i am having to manually weld the target block for them to continue work for another 5 or so seconds then the laser stops working again
Raidfire  [autor] 28 nov. 2024 la 2:18
Its made to be a 1 drill ship type of drill instead of you having 30-40 normal drills to do the same thing. You might get more ore/stone having 30-40 drills tho but this gets you there with 1 drill.
Anari | Ham Mafia | 27 nov. 2024 la 19:20
I just used the X-2200 for the first time. I have inventory sizes cranked because i don't like thinking about it...
SEVEN HUNDRED AND NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND KILOS OF STONE. In around 2 seconds of operation. 795K, or 795,000. I'm blown away. I love it. I need to process and store all of this somewhere.
Please keep it this powerful. :3
Raidfire  [autor] 18 nov. 2024 la 7:52
Coming soon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYWzCPyRQ3E Its going to be a seperate modpack tho for various advanced tools aka Omni Corp Adv Tools.
RulerOfDiscord 17 nov. 2024 la 16:45
Is there any chance that you will put the different tools into separate mods. IE I like the building tools but would not want the drill or ore detector.
Raidfire  [autor] 17 nov. 2024 la 13:35
No WeaponCore and ToolCore are completly diffrent things. WeaponCore for WEAPONS, and ToolCore for TOOLS. They have nothing to do with eachother.
Hazard 17 nov. 2024 la 13:27
@Raidfire If this mod work with WeaponCore, does this mean that ToolCore is working with WeaponCore? If yes it's will be cool.
Raidfire  [autor] 17 nov. 2024 la 12:19
This is not a weapon. Copy text and use a translator ;)
Hazard 17 nov. 2024 la 4:26
This is work with WeaponCore?
Raidfire  [autor] 15 nov. 2024 la 10:35
Open your P menu select a grind color. Then open the tool control panel turn on WorkColor it might not show right away so just click the tool again and it should show at the bottom there. And then you can set a color there is pick the one you just set in the P menu
Oorillon 15 nov. 2024 la 8:04
Hello, how to set up work-color?
It isn't shown in the Bar.

Might be a bug with Toolcore.
Raidfire  [autor] 13 nov. 2024 la 16:04
Working on something new also. Going to post progression Omni Corp discord. More of a shipyard specific tool.
Prophet Of Merci 13 nov. 2024 la 14:33
Well thats something atleast. Either way, ill let the boys know.
Raidfire  [autor] 13 nov. 2024 la 11:15
But as you suggested atleast the power usage for the amount of lasers active should be in relation with the x number of laser beams. So i think ill do an update with the power usage. Meaning they would need more reactors to use it. So i will atleast do an update for power usage = to 4 reactors(vanilla)
Raidfire  [autor] 13 nov. 2024 la 6:27
Im not going to change anything in my mod as it was designed with a purpose. Try looking for ore nerf mods perhaps. Things being easy to craft tells me that you havent adjusted the world itself to the blocks your adding. How you design a world you play in will make things either easy or hard. If your just straight out slapping it in without any consideration then yes you might think its OP. But mine is prob on the lowerside of rate and speed anyways.
Raidfire  [autor] 13 nov. 2024 la 6:27
Its ment to be used with limits. Aka 1 Drill per player as per description, 2 Tool Turrets and 4 fixed tools depending on your world. You guys shoulda followed the suggested limits. Its speed is actually 0.5 workrate is 1. 0 is the lowest and means nothing. Remember i designed this for MP server usage and not local worlds. The reason it feels like its semi OP is because of its mining radius and length. But it doesnt mean you get more ore. Your getting whats actually there. So instead of doing multiple trips your maybe doing 2-3. Also you could make your own mod that alters how much ore you get per tick essentially lowering the mined ore per voxel.
Prophet Of Merci 12 nov. 2024 la 17:03
@Raidfire
Prophet Of Merci 12 nov. 2024 la 17:01
omni-aurora collected 60k ore in about 4-6 seconds.

Is it possible to nerf that a bit? Either by reducing the drill rate, or drill strength, or reducing range, or consuming a bunch of power, or having some kind of cooldown for usage? Or maybe making it faaaaar more expensive in materials than it currently is?

Omni-corp isnt as OP as the Q-tech mod, but me and the boys love the "Zero-to-Hero" gameplay, but I feel its too easy to abuse the omni gear.

Not sure if it can be hidden behind progression AFTER researching a gravity generator or shield. Maybe making the items require Prototech (though that locks progression behind a DLC).

I dunno. I love the mod and its tools, but its too easy to obtain them and speedrun a survival campaign. Im just throwing random suggestions out there, but some of the guys are thinking of banning the tools due to them being too easy to craft whilst also being powerful to the point that all others tools seem useless.
Raidfire  [autor] 8 nov. 2024 la 10:05
Like i stated in the Ingame script usage(script workshop) for the OmniBeam X-1100 it works fine. I just loaded up my survival world. Added a blueprint that is touching the main grid. For a block to be elibable to be built and both the scripted fixed tools and the turrets started welding it fine.
Nyxborne 8 nov. 2024 la 9:52
The player stated about 30 minutes after i reported that it was a power issue, so that's my bad. Has there been any word on the Omnibeam issue> I noticed that it was mentioned in the ToolCore discord but I haven't been able to check on it like I usually would.
Raidfire  [autor] 7 nov. 2024 la 21:34
You can do it with activated also but then youl have to also use action select to switch between primary and secondary drilling
Raidfire  [autor] 7 nov. 2024 la 21:33
It works fine in both small and large grid when i tested it right now in survival. Not sure what you guys are doing over there. Remember drills works a little diffrent then the welder/grinder. Since the drill will show up in the tool block g menu like normal drills does so you can left click drill and right click tunnel. Replace the drill on the small grid and try again.
Nyxborne 7 nov. 2024 la 18:59
Now we are having a problem where the small grid OmniAurora drill is not drilling when activated, but the large grid is. I hope this is just a ToolCore thing
Raidfire  [autor] 5 nov. 2024 la 10:36
Hmm have to check it more then. There might have been some updates to ToolCore. Ill check on that side tho. But on your side. Make sure WorkColor is not on. Turn on Weld own grid, etc(there is various options there). Make sure Activated is on and also Track targest(XT-5000)
Nyxborne 5 nov. 2024 la 9:55
So im using the script to autoweld up a blueprint and the script is running great, but the Beams are not welding. They fire the blue lasers to the projected blocks but they don't weld the blocks up. The same is happening to the OmniBeam XT-5000 so i don't think it's a script issue.
Survival Multiplayer, beam is not obstructed, the grid has plenty of power to supply, and I have all the compnents required.
It's not welding ANY blocks
Raidfire  [autor] 4 nov. 2024 la 10:42
The script is only used for printing(welding) and not grinding(cant support it) and it controls the rotor and hinge that the fixed tool X-1100 mounts on. Hence the script. There is no pistons in there. Rotor+Hinge+Tool. Follow the instructions on the Script workshop page to setup.
Nyxborne 4 nov. 2024 la 9:39
Do the OmniBeam X-1100 net a script to use when grinding? I have their colors set but they just point in the direction they face without moving lol
Nyxborne 1 nov. 2024 la 14:42
The script that you provide to use with the Omnibeam X-1100, what are those arms on the pistons?
Raidfire  [autor] 17 oct. 2024 la 10:15
The ore detector functions the same as a vanilla ore detector does only diffrence is slightly more range. There is nothing special about it except for the model. So either you hid your signals with H or something else is causing void ore detection.
ButtSnorklr 17 oct. 2024 la 7:43
I am having a hard time getting the ore detector to detect anything.
Raidfire  [autor] 17 oct. 2024 la 6:36
Open P menu select color. Set color you selected in the P menu as for example the grind color and then Set it in the tool or tools themself when Workcolor is enabled
RuschGaming.TV 17 oct. 2024 la 6:28
im trying to figure out what color does it use to focus on when you enable the use color feature. I cant find any info here or on toolcore workshop page
