Also, didn't know they only loaded once. Good to know for the future.
If I may ask for a bit more QOL features (absolutely feel free to take your time if you want before implementing them, you already did a beautiful job with this new update that added so much QOL features):
1. Can we have an option to disable the Metroid Prime HUD while using this SWEP (i.e. only having the default Half-Life 2 or whatever HUD addon you have being displayed)?
2. Metroid Prime's "lock on" cursor (or artifact?) at the center is always there even when not locking on a target (which feels like a glitch as it isn't actually like that in Metroid Prime, it's only there in Metroid Prime when locking on a target). Can we have an option to disable it?
About the black HUD icons; yeah, I did not read that you had to turn on the AA things when I recorded the video and took that screenshot and was going to ask what's the problem, but just shortly after I took both the video and the screenshot (both were taken around the same time, I forgot to upload the screenshot until now), I read that you needed to turn on the AA settings (I turn off the AA because some models that I personally consider important to me get messed up slightly for screenshot purposes, so I temporarily turn it off and then on), hence why I did not come here and say "why do I have black HUD icons?"
Cheers!
- Can’t do the other visors while using other weapons because of dependencies.
- I’ll look into adding a toggle for idle sway in the next update.
- TPP support was never planned, but the next update should fix that.
- Beam switch animation has no issues, its simply because of your TPP.
Also, turn on anti-aliasing in your video settings to fix your black HUD icons.
Cheers.
Hello @WLKRE!
First off, thank you so much for this absolutely perfect addon. It feels like you made 1:1 port of Metroid Prime in Gmod, it's simply a 10/10 addon.
If you can, can you add any of these features:
Option to change the visor to any of Metroid Prime's visors even when not equipping this SWEP (for example, I would love to have the X-Ray visor while using other SWEPs even when not equipping this SWEP)
Option to disable "idle sway" (I know this is how it actually was in Metroid Prime, but I don't prefer to have it in Gmod)
For example if you were to spread them accross a map for a player to pick up?
-Is there a way to enable HL2/default gmod movement back on for this?
-Can you save altered damage values?
