could you have a separate version that doesn't effect the deagle? there is little to no reason using the pistols(s) on expert; especially realism. while the deagle can not only pierce targets and secure good kills. i would like the pistols to have the ability to shine a little bit more;

so far though this pairs nicely with the break melees script and the [hard-mode] ammo swapper mod to encourage weapon swapping

Either way, you need to pick up the laser from actual laser box spawn, commands will not work.

doesn't work :( I tried restarting and everything, the only mod I found that works is the Secondary Rebalance: https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=545523126

But it just makes deagle the primary, which is nice coz I can add laser sight and use upgraded ammo packs but I wanna use magnum with awp or ak for those flashy quick weapon switch zombie kills

Try using "ent_create upgrade_laser_sight" instead.

Really? The latter is just getting the laser upgrade in a chapter then going to the next one and dying to some SI spawn bullsh!t, doneso by just getting lucky with a laser sight spawn (or using mods that adds deployable laser sights) and using before dying in a later chapter.

Mod's effect persist even after unsubbing. Not really a problem but it can be for others (previous panic was wack/managed to fix my issue somehow).
One quirky thing though is that if you were to die/lose after getting your laser pistol your laser upgrade will be lost upon chapter restart even if you obtained said upgrade the previous chapter.

kurochama's ESB mod also allows to grab laser sights for the pistols. What's more is that dropping said pistol would actually have laser sights attached to its worldmodel, but will disappear if grabbed by a survivor. Source engine jank.

another weird question do you lose laser sight if you revive or switch gun tho like if i swap to pistol get laser sight then swap to magnum does the pistol i leave there still have the laser sight
