You can definitely make a hibiscus themed War Paint work! Right now it looks like it's too oriented to RED team only. Change the salmon-ish pink to more yellow, like how it looks on the actual flowers. The gradient should probably be flattened down to just a more simpler pink, and then maybe do purple to replace the purplish-red color.

Qua you quite literally have the same colors in your PFP.
Beside that,this is a subjective thing,some ppl like brighter colors,some ppl like darker ones,and the theme of this WP makes it so it looks better with brighter colors.
Theres nothing to change or fix here,you like it or you dont,its as simple as that.

So much saturation on the colours, it looks like the ones from Scream Fortress, desaturate it a lot because it hurts my eyes.

I can make an alternate color version, I did look at the war paints already in game and there is plenty brightly colored ones. And personally, I like summer. That's why I made a summer themed War Paint. Not because it's a 'summer update'. Anyway, I don't personally see why the concept is bad. The only thing I can agree with is that it's maybe a bit too saturated.

Bad concept, and eye searing execution. I implore you, please don’t make summer themed war paints for the game, but if you must then please use colors with a much lower amount of saturation. Try to use colors found within tf2 that arent too saturated if you’re stuck. This could have potential to be like saccharine stripped, I know you can do it.
