I can see how people get confused glancing over this mod's showcase video, but to this day I still don't get how people think L4D2 footage on L4D1 maps is L4D1 despite melee weapons, special infected, etc.

You should add the Finale wipe cams to L4D2, there a lot of different angles to choose from to make it on par with the L4D1 cams.

Never understood the reason L4D2 doesn't have the finale wipe cams, really sold the movie feel.

Good question, I have no idea lol. Its only ever used in the l4d1 finales but its worth a try.

The camera_finale I added is also based off the GOTY xbox menu, more fun trivia. Naturally you and I will never see it because we never die of course :VBCOOL:

point_deathfall_camera's dont trigger as consistently in l4d2, you can test this by dragging a l4d1 bsp of blood harvest map 1 into l4d2 and jumping off the rock at spawn. For the camera_finale, if you place a point_viewcontrol and call it "camera_finale", the game will swap to that view when you fail the map. A little secret you can use for your future maps 😉

Nice addition, I completely forgot those even were a thing with how scarcely they're used. Though, as far as I know, point_deathfall_camera works just fine in L4D2, but Valve for some reason chose to not add them to any of the new campaigns.
But what does camera_finale do? That entity doesn't show up in Hammer, nor in the VDC.
