The extended common infected mod is only for new types of common infected, this modified the original commons.

@17 It does work, kind of, it's hard to describe precisely lol
the shirt on some of the male models actually blocks the gore, or at least it's much less visible; i.e shooting off the legs of a common doesn't rip off the pants but the leg is still shot off
