Ryder: No problem, any time. The atomic alloy uses the "custom paint job" finish (i think). You just don't get the nice shine that Patina can give you.

The metallic sheen comes with the finishes you can choose. "custom paint job" allows you to fully paint all of the gun (not just some parts), but is always kind of matte. This one was made with "patina" finish. There's values you can alter to determine how shiny the gun looks.

I have to say that the colors seem to be slightly off in the screenshots. They seem more "gold" as presented here. I've tried to reproduce the titanium color, a sort of "warm dark silver". The black metal is brushed, but it looks a bit scratchy in the low-rez pictures. It looks better in the workbench.

Opera, thanks for the feedback. The gun does look slightly more "gold" in the pictures than it does in-game. Can't really say why. Maybe I'll take some new screenshots. The pictures of the desert eagle look more accurate in terms of colour.
