This DOES still work on 41.78. To use it properly, here's what you need to do:

(1) Make a bucket of concrete (you need a FULL sack of plaster powder and a full bucket of clean water. Tainted water will NOT work)
(2) Put the bucket of plaster mix and a trowel in your inventory.
(3) Go to the wall that's cracked; right click, and select "Repair Wall Crack"
(4) Highlight the ground of the same time as the cracked wall and left click. You'll repair it.

A bucket gives you 10 uses. Choose wisely. Enjoy. :P

It doesn't work if you save the map and then play again, but it's a broken wall cracker

Why it doesn't work?!

The translation for brazilian portuguese should be like this:

"Reparar Rachaduras da Parede"

Dont work anymore, when i restart the game or leave the house too far, the cracks come back again.

Works in MP, but does not work on lvl 3 wooden walls that start to erode.

Mod's working in MP ?

If you repair as admin, I remember it doesn't come back...Not sure about this though. I might recall wrong.

If I remember right, it comes back whenever u restart the server or update any mods.

The crack appears back after a few in game days. Not sure if it won't be a problem after the erosion days are done.

Is it not working now? If you play the game after applying the mode, you can't do anything.

It does not appear in the right-click list.

Works in multiplayer, only noticed one problem. It is only possible to repair walls on the outside, if you try inside a house doesn't work.

dudei used up like a ton load of plaster only for it to revert to cracked 5 mins later...

you can repair it in vanilla tho "Cracks begin to appear on the walls, streets, and sidewalks, getting bigger over time. This does not currently reduce the structural integrity of a building or surface. Plaster and paint can be used to repair cracked walls."

Is not working properly?

My base uses siding. Every time I come back to the base the same part of the wall is cracked. It seams like it resets when I leave the area and come back.

Hi, I found a potential bug. It seems like the brick wall with the fireplace in the construction house to the west of Riverside in the neighbourhood with all of the houses for sale keeps resetting every time I reload my singleplayer save. Hoping you would be able to fix this, as it'd be a big help. Cheers

Good mod, but you can't remove wallcracks on a two floor building without using a staircase.

Could you possible add support for "Mason trowel" from Hydrocraft to your mod? For now it cannot be used for repairing walls.

It does work with saved games. Before you load the game, you have to enable the mod on your save. Within the save menu, click the save and click the mods for the save file and you will be able to add the mod to the save.

does this work with saved games, or do you need to start a new game for it to work? i have a trowel and bucket of plaster in my inventory and equipped and can't repair the wall cracks.

Ah so that's why my walls are all cracked after it was just repaired a day ago.

I've updated the mod to include a server side check after a wall is repaired.

i found the same put the mod on an existing server but after a restart all repairs are reset

Confirmed, it does work on MP when added to an ongoing server.

Two questions, does this work in multiplayer? And does this work if enabled on already existing games?

Comment below is so true, after killing couple of zombies in your base or just a temporary shelter, you expect to at least clean the room you're going to sleep in.

@Pigzit - I am not entirely sure what the wiki means by repairing with plaster and paint. I searched the games source code for a repair function for cracks and was not able to locate it.

(I think maybe it means that you are able to plaster a wall and then paint it to repair it?)

I wanted to keep the look of the wall I was repairing so this mode simply uses plaster and a trowel, and then removes the crack (similar to filling in a dent or crack on Drywall)
