i just used his mod to extract the content to determine the name of the file and the file path. if you have trouble with extracting the file, one of the L4D2 tools will help with that.

once you determine the file path, you just have to replace the file with the one you wish to use. Make sure it uses the same name though, or it won't work.

After that, zip the file to a vpk format, and you're good to go.
